I Aim:

By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to talk and write about their activities in each season They can ask and answer about the weather someone like

II Language contents:

Grammar: - What weather you like? -> I like hot weather.

- What do you when it is hot? -> I go swimming when it is hot. Vocabulary: revision

III Techniques: o Chatting o Matching o Kim’s game o Picture drill o Word cue drill IV Teaching aids:

o Projector and Laptop o Sub- board

V Procedures:

Teacher’s and Students’ activities Contents

- Students play the game “Brainstorming” in groups - Teacher gives each group a

group board

- Students list the activities in the free time in minute - Teacher scores the points and

decides which group is the winner ( one point for one correct activity)

- Teacher asks some group the question: “When you this activity?”/ “When you play badminton?”/ …

- Teacher introduces the new lesson

1/ Warm up: (5’) ) Chatting :

- What is the weather like in the winter? - What weather you like?

- What you when it’s hot ?/ cold? / cool? / warm?

- Students look at the pictures and tell the activities:

*Predict

- Teacher sets the scene: You are going to read a short passage about Ba Guess what Ba

does in different weather (hot/ warm/ cool/ cold)

- Teacher explains how to use “When”:

Then T has Ss predict before reading the text, giving examples

Then Ss read it in silence and loudly

T has Ss complete the sentences T corrects

T asks Ss practice in pairs then write their sentences on the board T gives clear examples
