4/ Adverb of frequency (Trạng từ thường xuyên): sử dụng để diễn tả mức độ thường xuyên hành động Loại trạng từ thường dùng để trả lời câu hỏi HOW OFTEN … ?
Một số trạng từ thường xuyên:
- always: luôn/ usually: thường thường/ frequently: thường xuyên/ often: thường thường, thường xuyên/ sometimes: (= occasionally) thỉnh thoảng, đơi khi/ seldom (=scarely) khi, khi/ rarely: khi, khi/ never: khơng bao giờ
-Adverbs of frequency: thường đứng ở: + Sau động từ “BE”
Ex: They are always on time It is never cold in the summer + Trước động từ thường
Ex: They often go swimming in the summer
+ Sau trợ động từ (don’t, doesn’t, will, must, can, could,etc) We don’t usually go to the movies together
People should always brush their teeth after meals Do you often go to the gym?
+ Những trạng từ: every week/month, twice a month, every two days/ weeks, once a week/ month, twice a week/ month, three times a week/ month, etc thường cuối câu Ex: They go shopping once a week
