Unit 9- A first- aid course Lesson 4: READ (p.83- 84)

I.Aims:

- Help ss understand the content of the reading

- By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to read for the instructions about some more situations requiring first – aid

1.Language contents:

- Model will to make requests - offers promises

*Vocabulary: lie flat, elevate, victim, overheat, tissue damage, ease

1.Teacher’s preparation: English book, textbook, lesson plan, posters.

2.Ss’preparation: Textbook, notebook, and reference book,review the old lesson, preview vocabularies

*Pre – reading : Introduce the topic of reading passage and some new words to Ss

I.Aims:

- Help ss complete the thank-you note Nga sent to Hoa after she left the hospital and know how to write a thank-you note to a friend

- By the end of the lesson , Ss will be able to know how to write a thank – you note inviting his/ her friend to go on a picnic
