The new lesson: Stages Teacher’s and students’ activities Content Warm up Pre- listening - Ask Ss to find out the adjectives that they begin with the letters that the teacher gives. - Divide the class into 2 groups. - Give four letters at the same time, Ss are to find out four nouns beginning with the four letters given (t- whole class) - Teacher introduces the content that they are going to study today. - T. reviews the expressions for greetings- explaining when to use them. - Ss read these expressions (p. 12) - Ss read the 4 conversations (pp. 12-13) and try to guess and complete four dialogues, * Categories: Ex: T: a b c d S: awful big clever dirty I.
