First Friends – Unit – Our school - Lesson 3+4 Review vocab: Music room, teacher, friend, classroom, seesaw, bus, playground, sand box Review Structures: What’s this? It’s…/ Who is this? He’s…/She’s… Alphabet A-Z, Number 1-5 Activities Procedure Warm up (5mins) Review vocab (5 minutes) Practice vocabulary (15 mins) Practice structures (20 mins) Teacher (T) Students (Ss) - Greeting - Ask the Ss t look at pages 10, 11 and ask them “Who are the boys in the picture” (Baz and Sam) “ where are they?” (at school) - Hold up each flashcards, say and let Ss repeat - Gradually reveal each cards and let Ss guess what it is - Say the words and let Ss repeat - Ask some Ss to read the words to check if they remember or not - Greeting - Look at the picture and answer - Write word on the board, hold up any card, if the word and the picture match, Ss say Yes, if not, Ss say No - Write the beginning letter of a word and let Ss guess what word it is, let them finish the words - Call Ss, ask them write words, the faster is the winner - Put all flashcards in a bag - Call a S to take out a card randomly and ask other Ss “who’s this”, “what’s this” - Prepare a die and a board (As bellow) - Give each S a magnet (with different color ) - Ask Ss to roll the die and move the die the same steps that the die indicates - ask the S to ask and answer about the image where his/her magnet tops - Who finishes first is the winner - Say Yes or No -Listen and Repeat - Guess - Guess - write words on the board as fast as possible - a S takes out a flashcard and ask the questions - the rest Ss answer the questions - Roll the die Move the magnet - Ask and answer Alphabet AZ (15 mins) Number 1-5 (15 mins) Deliver worksheet and give comment 15 mins - Ask Ss to look at the book page 12-13 , play track 13 and ask them point to the letter - Write all the alphabet on the board, point and ask Ss to say its name - Erase one letter and ask a S to say the sound - prepare a button (or a coin) - Ask each S to drop the button onto their book (the alphabet) - Look, listen and point - Point - Say - Drop the button - say the sound of the letter that the button lands on - say the word beginning with that sound - ask Ss look at the book page 14 and ask - look and answer them how many seesaws, rabbits, nuts - spell - Write number 3,4,5 and ask some Ss to - match spell the words - a S draws and asks, the rest - write numbers and the words on the will answer board and let Ss match - Ask a S draw a number of circles (or anything) and ask the rest “how many circles?” ... beginning with that sound - ask Ss look at the book page 14 and ask - look and answer them how many seesaws, rabbits, nuts - spell - Write number 3 ,4, 5 and ask some Ss to - match spell the words - a...
