Semester - Week 24 Period LETTER A Learn to sound – learn new words  OBJECTIVES: At the end of the lesson, students will be able to: recognize words such as "Ff, /f/, fish, fin, swim" pronounce letter “A”, its sound, and words “fish, fin, swim” understand the meaning of the words LANGUAGE:  Skill: Listening, Speaking, Reading  Key vocabulary: “Ff, /f/, fish, fin, swim” RESOURCES AND MATERIALS - Media,Pupil’s book, Flashcards,Pictures -   STEPS TEACHER’S ACTIVITIES   I.INTRODUCTION  II.PRESENTATION Weather Report: - Ask the class about today’s weather and put the weather symbol on the board Warm - up: - Teacher plays the Warm up Song “Do it” (sing and actions with students) Review and Lead-in - Teacher asks children to review the alphabet song - Teacher introduces the letter by saying a short simple sentence "Today we will learn a new letter Can you guess what letter?" - Learn to sound (Ff, /f/, fish) - Teacher lets students recognize the letter 'A' by clicking on the media STUDENTS’ ACTIVITIES sing a song and actions - listen and sing answer the question Listen and say “Ff, /f/, III.DEVELOPMENT and asking students to listen two or three times - Teacher helps students pronounce the words and the sound correctly - Teacher clicks the symbol: “Sound” on the media - Let students listen “Ff, /f/, fish,” times and then repeat - Teacher shows the flashcards with “letter F, fish” - Let students recognize the meaning of the word “fish” - Teacher checks students’ pronounciation - Let students practice saying words as a whole class, groups, individuals - Teacher clicks on the symbol “Song” on the media, then asks students to listen times and sing Words song  Book using - Ask students to practice saying words in their books - Raise the book high enough so that students can see it clearly  Learn new words (fish, fin, swim) - Teacher shows the pictures “fish, fin, swim” - Teacher explains the meaning of the words by giving them the comparison of “big, small, round and square” - Teacher clicks on the media and asks students to listen the words “fish, fin, swim” two or three times - Let students practice saying words fish” correctly listen and repeat - Sing a song the activity in pairs or individuals Pay attention and answer the questions Listen and say the words correctly  -   as a whole class, groups, individuals Teacher checks and corrects students’mistakes Words song “fish, fin, swim” Touch game!
