Answer: Literature, History, Geography,… What do you study in Literature, History, Geography… Task 1: Have students skim the passage and pick out the subjects mentioned in it. While- readi ng _Students read the text and do task 1( Literature, History, Geography, Physics, English, Music, Sports, Art) -Check the answers with the whole class. Task2: Ask students different questions such as: What do students do at school? -Teacher lets students read the passage again . -Teacher explains some new words if necessary: Essays, learn about, enjoy -Students do the task 2 after the second reading -Teacher asks students work in pair ,asking and asnwering questions about the subjects mentioned in the passage. -Students compare their asnwers in pair. Post-reading - Teacher lets students discuss with a partner. Odd one out Literature-auther, writing,paintings,stories History-basketball games, famous people, words events,important days Science-experiments, meter, preposition, temperature English-words, verbs, England, pronouns. A6 25’ Practice Teacher lets students match each subject to the correct items Physical education piano, guitar, songbooks Geography graphs, equations,calculator Music games, running, shoes, ball Art map, globe, atlas Math paints,pencil, paper -Teacher asks some students do A6 and read the complete sentence such as: In Physical education we study games, running shoes, ball Remember Consolidation 10’ -Structures What do you study in…? What does he / she learn in the Geography class?
