Interrogative: Had + S + V3

Usage: Diễn tả 1 hđộng qúa khứ

xảy ra trước 1 thời gian qúa khứhoặc trước 1 hành động qúa khứkhác.(Nếu trong câu có 2 hđộngqúa khứ, hđộng nào xảy ra trước

dùng thì past perfect, hđộng nào

xảy ra sau ta dùng thì simple past.Ex: We had lived in Hue before1975

Ex: After the children had finishedtheir homework, they went to bed

Usage: Diễn tả hành động sẻ xảy ra ở tương lai (1 quyết tâm hoặc một ý kiến về một hành động trong tương lai

the usage of the near future Form: S+(be)+going to + V(bare-inf)

(dự định sẽ)

= S +(be)+V-ing (sắp sửa)

Usage: +Diễn tả 1 hđộng sắp sửa

xảy ra hoặc một dự định sắp tới(thường trong câu không có cụm từthời gian)

Ex: My father is retiring-Explain the future continuous -Take note 11 The future continuous tense

-Các thành ngữ này luôn luôn có nghĩanhư các danh từ số nhiềuiV(plural)-Khi muốn dùng ở số ít, ta nói

a young man, an unemloyed woman… Note: chúng ta nói “the poor”, “the

young” chứ không nói “the poors”,

“the youngs”.
