Thuận lợi: Phần lớn các em đều là học sinh trong xã, đạo đức tốt và rất có nhu cầu học Tiếng Anh. Đây là điều kiện thuận lợi cho học sinh tiếp thu bài tốt . 2. Khó khăn: Còn một bộ phận không nhỏ số học sinh thuộc hộ nghèo, con em nông thôn. Chính vì vậy mà việc tạo điều kiện cho các em học môn Tiếng Anh vẫn còn có những khó khăn nh sách, vở, từ điển và sách tham khảo còn thiếu. Trong đó đặc biệt là từ điển và sách tham khảo đa số học sinh không có Thiết bị dạy học môn Tiếng Anh còn thiếu và không có hiệu qủa nh: đài đĩa, máy chiếu, phòng học tiếng. II / Yêu cầu bộ môn 1. Kiến thức: Học sinh nắm đợc một số kiến thức cơ bản nhất định để có thể giao tiếp bằng Tiếng Anh với những mẫu câu đơn giản trong cuộc sống hàng ngày, đặc biệt là các hoạt động thờng ngày trong nhà trờng và gia đình. 2. Kỹ năng: ở hai lớp 7 bớc đầu học sinh thực hiện đợc bốn kỹ năng cơ bản: nghe, nói, đọc, viết ở mức độ trung bình. Sau phát triển cao hơn ở hai lớp 8 3. T duy: Ngoài việc các em nắm đợc kiến thức cơ bản về Tiếng Anh, các em còn phát huy đợc vốn Tiếng Việt giàu có và phong phú. Các em thấy đợc cái hay, cái đẹp giữa các ngôn ngữ mà đặc biệt là Tiếng Anh và Tiếng Việt. Các em còn thấy đợc những điểm tơng đồng giữa các ngôn ngữ. 4. T tởng, tình cảm: Học sinh phần nào hiểu biết đợc một số phong tục tập quán của các nớc trên thế giới, đặc biệt là các nớc nói Tiếng Anh: Anh, Mỹ, Canada, ấn Độ, Malaysia Thông qua đó giáo dục cho các em lòng yêu quê hơng đất nớc. Phát huy tinh thần hoà nhập và giao lu Quốc tế. 5. Chỉ tiêu phấn đấu: Lớp 8 A: Lớp 8 B: - Giỏi : 10% - Giỏi : 5% - Khá : 35% - Khá : 30% - TB : 55% - TB : 60% - Yếu : 0% - Yếu : 5% Lớp 7 A: Lớp 7 B: - Giỏi : 5% - Giỏi : 0% - Khá : 30% - Khá : 20% - TB : 65% - TB : 65% - Yếu : 0% - Yếu : 15% 2 6. Biện pháp: - Yêu cầu học sinh làm bài tập và chuẩn bị bài mới trớc ở nhà.
