VI.Produres: Teacher and Sts’ activities Contents 1.Warm-up: * Adjectives and Quetions T aks Sts to write some adjs describing people’s characters Write some adjectives describing people’s characters. T asks Sts some quetions Sts answer T checks and corrects Answers: - reserved (a) - kind (a) - sociable (a) - friendly (a) - generous (a) - humorous (a) Who is your best friend? Can you tell me about him/ her? What does he/she look like? What is he/she like? 2.Pre-writing: T asks Sts to read the information about Tam then answer some questions 1. Read the information about Tam: * Questions: - What is his name? - How old is he? - What does he look like? Name: Le Van Tam Age14 Appearance: tall,thin,short black hair Characters: sociable, humorous, Address: 26 Tran Phu Street, Ha Noi Family: mother,father, elder brother - Hung Friends: Ba, Bao 3.While-writing: T asks Sts to write a paragraph about Tam, using the information they have just got. Sts work individually T gives more vocab (if Sts need) Ask Sts to compare with the paragraph in their books on page 15 T checks and corrects 4. Post-writing: T asks Sts each Student to write a similar paragraph about himself/herself T moves around the class and help Sts, then asks some Sts to speak in front - What is he like? - Where does he live? - Who does he live with? - Who is his friend? 2. Fill in a similar form for your partner. Use the following questions as prompts. Questions: (abcdefg) on page 15. 3. Write a paragraph about your partner. of the class about hinself/herself 5.
