OBJECTIVES: By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to: - Talk about the history of the world cup and express their understanding the World Cup by using their background knowledge and related such as: FIFA, soccer tournament, fans, host - Better their reading skill through True, False statement and Answering Questions exercises. PROCEDURE: Stages and timing STEPS Work Arrangement Warm-up ( 10mins) Game: Matching - T asks Ss to play game "Matching". - T explains the rules of the game. T distributes the handout. In group of 5 or 6 Ss will match name of some countries with the year they became champion.
