Teaching date: /2 Period: 61 UNIT 10: HEALTH AND HYGIENE Lesson 1: A personal hygiene(A1 ) I. Objective - Continue reviewing the simple present and past simple and after the lesson St can give instruction and talk about habits and routines. - To develop Ss reading skills. II. Teaching aids : Text books , lesson plan, pictures . III. Teaching procedure A. Class organization - Greeting _ Checking attendance: 7C: B. New lesson Sts' and teacher's activities The content 1. Warm up - Play a game: Noughts and crosses. T. draws a table with words in the lesson. - Divides class into two teams. One team is Noughts(O) and the other is Crosses(X) - Two teams choose the number in the boxes in turns. If the sentence is correct, they will get two marks. - The team which has 3 noughts or 3 crosses on a line will win the game. 2. pre reading T sets up the context Pre teach: - explanation - translation. T give two sentences and explains the use of them. Ordering. Hoas Mom writes. ( work in groups.) - Asks sts to close the book. - Sts listen to A1 and arrange the sentences in the correct order. Objective - After the lesson St can understand the order of somebody’s routines and talk about their routines. - To develop Ss’ listening and speaking skills. II. Teaching aids : Text books , pictures , teacher’s book. III. Teaching procedure A. Class organization - Greeting. - Checking attendance: 7C: B. Objectives - Students can talk and write diary about their every day work. -After the lesson St can use the appropriate from of the verbs to fill in the blanks and know how to write a letter using the given form from the existing letter in the text book. -Writing a letter to reply and talk about health and hygiene. II. Teaching aids : - Text books , pictures , teacher’s book. III. Teaching procedure A. Class organization - Greeting - Checking attendance: 7C: B. New lesson Sts' and teacher's activities The contents 1. warm up Pelmanism - Prepare cards with number from 1 to . on one side and the past simple verbs on the other. - Make sure te verbs are mixed up, then stick them on the board so that the sts can see the numbers. - divides the class into two teams and ask them to choose two numbers. - turn the cards over, if they match: go – went. - If not, turn the cards over again and ask the next team to continue. 2.
