Games: word square’
- Put SS into groups of 4
- give each group a copy of the task(
Appendix 1)
- Ask SS to find in the work square as directed using the clues given
- Allow SS 4 minutes to do task
- As the time is up , get groups to exchange their word squares
-go over the answers with the whole class
- Ask SS to grade their friends’ work.(Tell SS
to award a point for each correct word)
-After SS fishing grading, have the word squares returned to the intended groups
-The group which scores the most points wins
