GRAMMAR PRACTICE I . OBJECTIVES : Help the students to review vocabulary and grammar from unit 4 to unit 5. II . LANGUAGE CONTENTS : - Grammar: Simple present tense - Ask and answer about the time. - WH-question , question word. - Vocabulary: Review vocabulary and some basic sentences. IV . TECHNIQUES:: group works, pairworks, ask and answer. III . TEACHING AIDS : : Pictures , and exercises. V. PROCEDURES : 1. Warm up : (5’) Word Square H O M E W O R K S L I S L E N T T D O P L A Y A A G W O R K O K R O N R E A D E T W A T C H T E T M U S I C Y A O F I N I S H T - Ask Ss to find out as many words as possible from the word square start, old, go, sports , TV, to , take, eat, at  homework, listen, play, do, or, on ,work, read, watch, finish, music 1. Check up : (no) 3. New lesson: Teacher and students’ activities Contents T 1. Activity1 - Ask Ss to repeat the way to tell the time - Ss repeat- T. writes on board - Have Ss give examples - Ask Ss to practise asking and answering about the time in exercise 2/P.60 (in pairs) - Call on some pairs of students to practice before the class - Give feedback and correct I. Telling the time - What time is it? What is the time?  Answer +Giờ đúng: It is + giờ+ o’clock + Giờ hơn: It is + giờ+ phút + Giờ kém: It is + phút + to + giờ Example (?) What time is it? Activity 2: Question words - Ask Ss to retell some question words they have learnt and uses of them - Ss answer - have Ss do the exercise 4/P.61 Ss complete the (question word) questions using the question words: - Give feedback and correct  Noughts and crosses - Divide the class in to 2 team A-B - Ask Ss to make questions using the question words and answer using the information in the boxes - The team who gets 3 noughts or 3 crosses in a line will win the game - Praise the winner * Practice: Ex 2 /p.60 Example exchange S1: What time is it?
