Kĩ thuật làm bài điền từ:

Bước 1: Xác định số từ cần điền + gạch dưới/ highlight từ khoá (thường là danh từ) để theo được bài nghe

Bước 2: Song song với việc gạch dưới/ highlight từ khoá là dịch được câu có chứa từ cần điền (câu nào

ko cần điền thì đọc lướt qua xác định từ khoá)

Bước 3: Xác định loại từ cần điền

Nếu đứng trước từ là: a -> N số ít, bắt đầu bằng phụ âm

Nếu đứng trước từ là: an -> N số ít, bắt đầu bằng nguyên âm (ueoai)

Nếu đứng trước ko có mạo từ/ hoặc có the/ hoặc có tính từ sở hữu (your): không xác định được số ít hay nhiều -> tập trung nghe âm ‘s/ es’ cuối (thầy thường thêm ‘s’ vào trước)

Bước 4: Là bước cực kì quan trọng – dự đoán từ/ cụm từ bị paraphrase (rất thường đứng trước từ cần điền)

Cũng có kiểu paraphrase từ chủ động sang bị động:

học cấu trúc: have/ has + got: dịch là ‘có’ -> dùng trong văn nói

còn văn viết là : have/ has: cũng dịch là ‘có’

Một số từ thường có s/es:

Những thứ đi theo đôi: shoes, sandals, jeans, trousers, scissors

Côn trùng: insects, bees, flies

Những từ kết thúc bằng d/ t (bởi vì nó sẽ khó nghe âm s): scientists, insects, nests, posts Đặc biệt là: diseases (vì thường ghi sai), seeds (thường nhầm với sits, seats)

hoặc liên quan đến côn trùng: nests

 đi đọc đáp án Listening của các cuốn Cam + từ nào mới thì phải ghi ra nhiều lần để biết mặt chữ

Produce = ôn lại từ đồng nghĩa của make <<< bắt buộc phải thuộc lòng cái này

Học thuộc tất cả từ đồng nghĩa của attend (hay những từ mang nghĩa là ‘tham gia’)

Test 1 - Part 1

Without breaking it = it doesn’t break

Chú ý câu số 4 và câu số 7: cấu trúc and song song

đứng trước an là cars, trucks thì sau and cũng phải là một danh từ số nhiều

và danh từ này cùng chịu tác động của động từ build trước đó

câu số 7: đứng trước từ cần điền là: build, sau đó là and và program -> từ cần điền phải là động từ

Bài này thì create paraphrase bằng: think up an idea for a 5 minute movie, and then film it

Bài này có parking là từ thường được dùng làm đáp án

Change = alter

Correctly = properly

properly = chính xác

còn probably = có thể

e.g = cố gắng nghe for example/ for instance, hoặc such as

bài này rất nhiều dạng bị động -> chuyển thành chủ động

Reference:

Xuất phát từ refer ~ mang nghĩa ám chỉ

Reference = sự ám chỉ

Reference = sự tham chiếu, tham khảo

Reference = thư giới thiệu

Hold = organise

Bài này có nhiều paraphrase theo dạng chủ động - bị động -> cần chú ý

Put someone off = làm nản ai đó = discourage, demotivate

Phân biệt meet và meet up:

Meet: vô tình gặp

Meet up: đã lên kế hoạch gặp

Test 4 - Part 1

Ko có gì cần chú ý nhiều – nhưng cần phải làm để quen với từ vựng về accommodation

Học thuộc từ cottage vì đây là đặc điểm nổi bật ở vùng quê nước Anh

Cẩn thận bị miss từ sau câu số 6, bởi vì phải ngồi canh mãi mới tới từ khoá ‘bathroom’
