I/ INFORMATION ABOUT DA NANG PORT.

II/ INFORMATION ABOUT BINH THUAN PORT.

a) Current situation

Currently, in Binh Thuan province there are 04 general seaports: Phan Thiet, Phu Quy, Vinh Tan and Son My seaports Up to now, there are 03 seaports in operation, including Phan Thiet, Phu Quy and Vinh Tan ports, while Son My port is in the stage

of attracting investment The total volume of goods through the province's seaports reached 16.27 million tons, an average growth of 17.08%/year (period 2016 - 2019) The amount of goods through the province's seaports in 2021 is 13.28 million tons.Vinh Tan international port is currently being used as a general cargo port; Phan Thiet and Phu Quy ports transport both goods and passengers; There are no

b) CURRENT SITUATION

Vung Ro Port was built and put into use in 1987, with the goal of serving the region's mineral exploitation activities After that, the port was invested in upgrading and expanding to serve other activities such as import and export of goods, tourism, Currently, Vung Ro Port can receive ships of up to 10 thousand DWT The amount of goods passing through the port annually is about 500,000 tons

Bai Goc Port

Bai Goc Port is a specialized port of the Free Trade Zone and Hoa Tam Refinery and Petrochemical Industrial Park, located in Hoa Tam commune, Dong Hoatown, Phu Yen province

Bai Goc Port was built with the goal of serving import and export activities of the Non-Tariff Zone and Hoa Tam Refinery and Petrochemical Industrial Park The port has a total land and water surface area of 220 hectares Up to now, an area of 134 hectares has been cleared, the remaining area is 86 hectares of water surface; The port water level is about 20m to 25m deep

Currently, Bai Goc Port can receive ships of up to 100 thousand DWT

10 Port Authority

Ninh Thuan seaport authority includes the following agencies and units:

Ninh Thuan Provincial People's Committee: Is the leading and state management agency for seaports in the province

Ninh Thuan Maritime Port Authority: Is an agency under the Vietnam Maritime Administration, with the function of state management of maritime and seaport activities in the province

Ninh Thuan Seaport Joint Stock Company: Is a state-owned enterprise assigned to manage and operate seaports in the province

Specifically, the People's Committee of Ninh Thuan province has the following tasks:Develop and promulgate planning and plans to develop the seaport system in the province

Approve investment projects to build, upgrade and expand seaports in the province.Manage and effectively use land funds and state assets under the management scope
