iii SUMMARY The project Building-up the cultivation procedure for potted rosemary (Rosemary officinalis L.) and investigating the influences of time duration in plants rotation from indoors to s growth and quality was conducted at the Research and Development Center of High Technology Agriculture from May 2017 to January 2018 The aim of this study is to design manufacturing model of potted rosemary and to determine the time when they are rotated from indoors to nursery conditions The study included two experiments The first experiment was to establish production models for potted rosemary The survey was carried out in rosemary gardens at Ben Tre and Dong Thap Provinces as well as Can Tho City After that, three gardens chosen because of their similar production techniques with our center, to monitor 30 pots/garden with commercial parameters (three-month-old pot plant) At the same time, the rosemary model cultivated in the center with the area of 500 m2 The data comparison by T test was executed between production techniques of the Center and each gardens The second experiment was to determine the influences of time duration in plants rotation from indoors to nursery conditions on rosemary s growth and quality There were three monitoring experiments rotated from indoors to the nursery They correspond to three indoors conditions: corridor (light intensity 100 - 200 lux), office (light intensity 300 - 500 lux) and balcony (natural light) These two-factor experiments were laid out in Complete Randomized Design (CRD) with three replications The first factor was the duration rosemary stayed indoors (corridor, office, balcony) The second factor was the duration rosemary stayed in the nursery The result of this study were as follows: The manufacturing model of potted rosemary at the Center for Agricultural Research and Development High-tech showed that the growth and development parameters of commercial potted rosemary (the height was 39.2 cm, number of stems of level was 56.1 stem/plant, the crown spread was 34.4 cm) and the economic efficiency (the profit was 181,600,000 VND) were significantly higher than the other BM20-QT.QLKH Trang iv technologies applied at the gardens in Sa Dec City (Dong Thap Province), Cho Lach District (Ben Tre Province), Binh Thuy County (Can Tho City) It is clearly proven that center s production model of cultivating potted rosemary is beneficial and feasible For decorative rosemary in indoor corridor (light intensity 100 - 200 lux): Should rotate periodically the rosemary stayed in indoors corridor in days to stayed in the nursery in days Survival plant rate after months of experiment was 88.9% For decorative rosemary in the office (light intensity 300 - 500 lux): Should rotate periodically the rosemary stayed in the office in days to stayed in the nursery in days Survival plant rate after months of experiment was 83.3% For decorative rosemary in the balcony (light intensity 1.000 - 70.000
