pandemic has been thoroughly impacting all aspects of society and all sectors including polity, economy, education, medicine, science, and linguistics- a language study, is not an exception During the Covid-19 pandemic, many English words or expressions that did not exist or were not commonly used before have been commonly used in everyday communication As a result, global translation market in general and translation industry in Vietnam in particular faces difficulties in translating COVID-19 terms to meet the demand of dissemination of the COVID-19 information in a quick and effective way Nowadays, CAT tools and parallel corpora play an essential role in language studies in general and translation and teaching and learning languages in particular The ongoing pandemic makes challenges in English-Vietnamese translation of the language of COVID-19, thus English-Vietnamese parallel corpora and a glossary of COVID-19 terms are of importance in the translation work as well as in teaching and learning the language of COVID-19 This study aims to use cloud-based CAT tools to build the EnglishVietnamese parallel corpus of the language of COVID-19, and then use corpus analysis tool to analyze and build the bilingual glossary of COVID-19 terms This glossary will be a reference for English-Vietnamese translation of COVID-19related documents and teaching and learning English in general and the language of COVID-19 in particular This study results achieved include:1/ an English-Vietnamese parallel corpus of the language of COVID-19 of about million words, 2/ an English-Vietnamese electronic dictionary which can be used online, and 3/ an English –Vietnamese glossary of 500 COVID-19 terms v TÓM TẮT Hiện nay, đại dịch COVID-19 ảnh hưởng sâu sắc đến mặt xã hội
