UNIT 19: WHICH PLACE WOULD YOU LIKE TO VISIT? Lesson 1(1, 2,3) Date of planning: 14/04/2019 Date of teaching :5A-15/4,5B,5C16/04/2019 I Objectives After the lesson, Ss will be able to: - Using the words and phrases related to the topic: Places to visit and Opinions on places II Language focus - The vocabulary: pagoda, beautiful, museum, - The structure: Which place would you like to visit, or ? I’d like to visit III Teaching aids Books, teachers’ book, notebooks, cards and cassette IV Procedures Teacher’s activities A Class organization Good morning/ afternoon! Students’ activities Who is absent today? Good morning/ afternoon! B Warm up - Having the class read the chant “What will the weather be like tomorrow?” - Play game - Invite two or three groups to say the chant and actions in front of the class before introducing Lesson C New lesson Look, listen and repeat - Tell the pupils that they are going to -Look at the pictures and give the practise talking about the outdoor activities answers and Ask Ss look at the picture and answer the questions ? How many people in the first picture? ?Who are they? ?What are they doing? - Listen carefully -Ask Students to look at the book and listen to the tape - Play the recording for Ss listen - Ask them repeat a few times - Repeat the procedure with the second - Listen and repeat picture - Play the recording through - Practice with Ss -Work in groups - Divide the class into groups Ask Ss practice in pairs -Practise in front of the class - Check some pairs - Others give comments - T gives comments - Go round and check Ss can repeat and understand the dialogue Point and say -Ask Students to look at pictures, then answer the questions: - Look at the pictures and then answer + How many pictures are there in part 2? + Can you guess the name of each picture? - Tell the class that they are going to - Listen carefully practise asking and answering questions about visiting a place of internet, using - Give new sentences “Which place would you like to visit, or ?
