Mặc dù đã hết sức cố gắng, với sự hiểu biết, tâm huyết cao nhất của mình, kết hợp kiến thức được đào tạo trong môi trường kinh tế cùng với kỹ năng sẵn có của mình về lập trìnhvà sử dụng các công cụ tính toán hiện đại, song vì thời gian và tài nguyên dành cho nghiên cứu có giới hạn nên chắc chắn có những tồn tại cần được khắc phụ hay bổ sung dành cho các nghiên cứu sau này.
Dữ liệu thu thập được chưa nhiều, mới chỉ giới hạn trong 18 nước khu vực Châu Á Thái Bình Dương do nguồn dữ liệu không có hay rất giới hạn cho các chỉ tiêu kinh tế song phương. Hơn nữa, một số quốc gia trong mẫu có thị trường chứng khoán mới hình thành nên không thể mở rộng nghiên cứu cho khoảng thời gian dài hơn. Phương pháp nghiên cứu được sử dụng rất mới, thực sự chưa phổ biến tại Việt Nam. Trên thế giới, các phần mềm ước lượng mô hình còn khá mới và giao diện chưa thân thiện, kén người dùng. Vì vậy kết quả nghiên cứu có thể rất có ý nghĩa trong mẫu song nếu kết luận suy diễn cho không gian rộng hơn hay toàn thế giới thì vẫn có giới hạn nhất định và cần được tiếp tục nghiên cứu phản biện hay kiểm định tính đúng đắn bằng các phương pháp khác hay các kỹ thuật trộn mẫu (như Monte Carlo Simulation chẳng hạn) để kiểm định kết quả nghiên cứu bằng luật số lớn.
