Lesson Period: 1/ : Week : Date: A Objectives: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to: Knowledge: - Ask and answer questions about the other speaker’s address - Sentence Patterns: What’s your address? – It’s _ - Vocabulary: address, lane, road, floor, flat, tower , numbers Language skills: - Listening and speaking Competence: - Co-operation (ready to help friends in pair work/ groupwork) - Self-study ( can perform individual tasks and solve problems by themselves - Use language to ask and answer questions about someone’s address Attitude - Build up interests and good habits in learning English - Be confident in communicating with friends/ teachers - Love people and their hometown B Aids: - Teacher’s aids: E- book , pictures, computer , projector, pictures, recording - Students’ aids: book, notebook, pen C Procedure: Steps / Activities Organization I WARM UP: (3 minutes) Goal: - Create a friendly and exciting atmosphere before the lesson -Greet Ss: Good morning, class Nice to see you again Talk to Ss about the series of Tiếng Anh 5, and show them the relevant online resources Check comprehension and give feedback Present Unit Point at the title and read it twice for Ss to repeat Check comprehension and give feedback -Respond to T’s greetings: Good morning, Ms _/Mr _ Nice to see you again Look, listen to T Answer T’s questions Follow T’s instructions II PRESENTATION: Activity 1: Look, listen and repeat (9 minutes) Goal: help Ss to find out new words; understand the context of the dialogue and role play the dialogueabout asking and answering about questions about someone’s address Long Hung B2 Primary School -Point at the pictures a, b, c, and d respectively to present the story and explain what each character says Check comprehension and give feedback -Play Track 2, pointing at each corresponding speech bubble for Ss to listen and repeat the sentence(s) twice -Point at each bubble for Ss to read the sentence(s) -Look, listen and answer T’s questions -Look, listen, and repeat, pointing at the corresponding bubble -Look and read the sentence(s) in each bubble Activity 2: Point and say (15 minutes) Goal: help ss practise asking and answering questions about someone’s address - Tell pupils that they are going to practice asking and answering questions about one’s address using: * Structure: What’s your address?  It’s…… - Introduce new words: lane, village, flat, street - Say aloud for pupils to repeat it Note: - How to say the number: 105 (one-oh-five), 1234 (onetwo-three-four or twelve- thirty-four) - Ask pupils to write down the new words and the structure in their notebook - Call on an open pair to the front of the class to give a model practice - Get pupils to work in pairs - Call some pairs to practice in front of the class -Listen - Repeat - Write down - Take note - Listen - Work in pairs III PRACTICE (10 minutes) Goal: Students can practise with new structure and apply it in real situation Let’s talk -Role play the story -Present the activity Describe the task: Ss interact in pairs, to ask and answer the questions in the activity -Wrap up -Follow T’s intructions Inform Ss of the project on p 11 to draw a house, write the Listen and turn to p 11 to read address, and present it to the class Check comprehension the information Take notes and give feedback Tell Ss the project deadline IV CONSOLIDATION (3 minutes) Goal: Consolidate what ss learnt in this lesson -T calls ss to retell the contents of this lesson vocabulary & -Ss to retell the contents of this lesson structure Long Hung B2 Primary School - T gets feedback and corrects pronunciation if necessary D REFLECTION: Bùi Thị Kim Liễu ... pairs, to ask and answer the questions in the activity -Wrap up -Follow T’s intructions Inform Ss of the project on p 11 to draw a house, write the Listen and turn to p 11 to read address, and present... pointing at the corresponding bubble -Look and read the sentence(s) in each bubble Activity 2: Point and say ( 15 minutes) Goal: help ss practise asking and answering questions about someone’s address... to say the number: 1 05 (one-oh-five), 12 34 (onetwo-three-four or twelve- thirty-four) - Ask pupils to write down the new words and the structure in their notebook - Call on an open pair to the
