LESSON 6: MY FAVORITE FOOD (C 1, 2, 3, 4)

Aims: To give the students new words about food and drinks.

Objectives: By the end of the lesson the students will be able to use the new words to practice the structure “What’s your favorite food/ drink?”

Skills: reading, writing, speaking Teaching aids: book, poster. Languages:

Grammar: What’s your favorite food/ drink?

Vocabulary: carrot, tomato, lettuce, potato, bean, pea, cabbage, onion, favorite

1 Pre-teach vocabulary : - A carrot ['krət] (n): củ cải đỏ

- A tomato [tə'mɑ:tou] (n): trái cà chua - Lettuce ['letis] (n): rau diếp, cải sà lách - A potato [pə'teitou] (n): củ khoai tây - Bean [bi:n] (n): hạt đậu

- Pea [pi:] (n): đậu hạt trịn

- A cabbage ['kbidʒ] (n): bắp cải - An onion ['ʌniən] (n): củ hành - Favorite ['feivərit] (adj): thích
