REVISION I.Aims.

1.Knowledge.

-To consolidate the sound of the letters Aa,Bb,Cc,Dd, Ee, Ff, Gg and the corre-sponding words apple,ant,aligator,acrobat, ball, bed, bee, bear, cat ,car,carrot, dog, dragon, drum, egg, elf, elephant, elbow ,fox, fish, frog, fork ,glass, goat, garden, gorrila

2 Skill: Listening, writing , speaking and reading. 3.Attitude.

- Educate Ss to be friendly with friends.

- Students love animals and tree with the letter g II.Teaching aids:

T: teachers’ book, , CD, phonics cards ,paper including the lyrics of the chant

Ss: Student’s book, colour Activity book.

2.Warm up ( 5’)

-Divide class into two team,

-Give students time to write down as many letters as possible they studied in unit 1-7.

-Explain the activity Review letter A-F

-Ask the students to say the letters. -Ask the students to name the items. -Ss: remember the letter.

-Ask them to put a tick () into the pictures that correspond to each letter.

- Ss: look at the letter listen and tick. - Ss: work individually.

-Go around the classroom to provide any necessary help, ask individual students to

say out the letter, the sound and the item.

* Activity (6’)

- Review all words

apple,ant,aligator,acrobat,ball,bed, bee,bear, - Ask the students to name the items, the let-ters and the sounds

- Ask them to draw a line to match the big and small letters with the corresponding pic-tures

- Ss: look at the pictures and match. - Ss: work individually and pairs

-Go around the classroom to provide any necessary help, ask individual students to say out the sound or the item.

* Activity (5’)

- Review all words

cat ,car,carrot,dog,dragon,drum,egg, elf, elephant, elbow

-Explain the activity.

-Ask the students to name the items.

-Define the beginning sound for the corre-sponding item

- Ss: remember the sound.

-Ask students to write the sound into the books.

- Ss: work induividually.

- Go around the classroom to provide any necessary help, ask individual students to say out the letter, the sound and the pictures.

* Activity (5’)

- Review all words

-Ask the students to read letters and callout the shapes indicating for the letters

-Write them letters for corresponding shapes - Ss: work individually.

-Go around the classroom to provide any necessary help, ask individual students to say out the sounds.
