(1)LESSON PLAN Unit7: World population Speaking Class description: - 40 students (Ss) in 11A2 class at Ngo Thi Nham high school Level: - Intermediate Time: 45 m Objectives: By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to: talk about the causes of population explosion, problems of population booms and solutions to these problems Assumed knowledge: - Ss have already known some vocabulary items related to the topic Anticipated problem(s): Designed by Trinh Thi Hong Ngoc Lop11.com (2) - There may be lack of time, so the teacher (T) can cut down amount of time to task - There may be time left, so the teacher (T) should spend more time for Ss doing task - Ss may not have enough vocabulary to talk about the topic, so T should be ready to provide help Teaching aids: - Books, handouts, visual aids, chalks and board Procedures: Time Stage minutes Warm up Aims To lead in the topic 5-7 To help Ss Task Techniques Eliciting technique Teacher’s activities *Picture description: - Shows Ss the prepared picture - Asks Ss some questions: + What can you see in the picture?
