3 Nếu trừong hợp xét xem câu chủ động hay bị động mà dùng VING hay

2 Rút gọn mệnh đề trạng từ:

Mệnh đề trạng từ mệnh đề nối liên từ when, because, while Điều kiện rút gọn là hai chủ từ phải giống

Công thức:

- Bỏ liên từ ( để lại biến thành giới từ) - Chủ động đổi động từ thành Ving

- Bị động dùng p.p ( giữ lại liên từ, có NOT phải để lại to be thêm ing vào to be : ( being + p.p )- ngoại trừ liên từ when, if, though lại bỏ ln to be.

Đối với liên từ when, as ( khi) mà động từ mệnh đề to be + N mang nghĩa "là" bỏ to be mà giữ lại danh từ thơi.

Ví dụ: Chủ động:

When he went home, => (When) going home, Bị động:

Các đề thi thường lợi dụng rắc rối mà "bẩy" thí sinh Mà khơng "bẩy" nhiêu đâu, người ta cịn kết hợp với cơng thức khác ! lấy ví vụ câu đề thi ĐH năm 2008 xem nhé:
