(1)REVISION OF UNIT 9 I THEORY: Lí Thuyết
* The simple past tense : Thì q khứ đơn
1 Công thức : - Thể khẳng định : S + V2/ Ved - Thể phủ định : S + didn’t + V1/ Vo
- Thể nghi vấn : Did + S + V1/ Vo ? -> Yes, S + did/ No, S + didn’t
+ V2: động từ bất qui tắc cột thứ ( Ex: go ( V1) -> went (V2) , )
+ Ved : Là động từ hợp qui tắc thêm ed vào ( Ex : watch ( Vo) -> watched ( Ved), )
@ Một số qui tắc thêm ed:
1 Những động từ có âm tận e thêm d ( Ex: live -> lived, …) 2 Những động từ có âm tận y , có trường hợp
a/ Nếu âm liền trước y nguyên âm ( a, o,e, u, i ) giữ nguyên y thêm ed
( Ex : play -> played, …)
b/ Nếu âm liền trước y phụ âm đổi y thành i thêm ed ( Ex: fly -> flied,…) 3 Những động từ có âm tiết, tận phụ âm, trươc phụ âm
một nguyên âm, gấp đôi phụ âm thêm ed ( Ex: stop -> stopped,…) @ Cách phát âm ed:
1 Động từ có t, d cuối phát âm “ id” ( Ex: Wanted, needed, )
2 Động từ có ch, s, x, sh, f, k, p, gh ,c cuối phát âm “ t” (Ex: helped, washed, ) 3 Các trường hợp lại phát âm “ d” ( Ex: learned, gathered, )
+ Động từ to be q khứ có dạng: was/ were -> I, you, we, they, Ns + were
-> he, she, it, N + was + Didn’t = did not

1 Xếp động từ sau theo cách phát âm tận “ed”.
