(1)Date of preparing: 1/12/2017 Week 14- Period 14 Unit 6: LETTER F – Period Class Date of teaching Absent pupils 1A 5/12/2017 ………………………………………………… 1B 6/12/2017 ………………………………………………… 1C 7/12/2017 ………………………………………………… I Aim and Objectives By the end of the lesson, students will be able to: - Recognize and pronounce the letter Ff /ef/ and its sound/f/ correctly - Understand, recognize and say the three Ffwords II Languge focus New words: my, funny III Reourcess : Pupil’s book, CD, phonics cards , photocopies of pages from story books IV.Organization: V.Proceduce Teacher’s activities I Warm-up (5’) - Greet students - Have students sing the chant in lesson 1, keep the rhythm by clapping their hands and doing hand actions Student’s activities Play game II New Lesson Listen Read Along (Track 38) (10’) - Ask the students to point to the picture of the word that the teacher says - Play the CD Have the students listen to the story once Listen, point and repeat - Play the CD again The students listen and point to the pictures of the key words when they hear them in the story - Read the story The students follow their books listen - Teacher reads the printed words then let the students point to the pictures and say the words - Ask students work in pairs One reads the Repeat after T printed words while the other points to the pictures and says the words Activity: Say the Sight Words (3) (2) - Point to and say the sight words: my, funny, and, are, with - Have students repeat - Call on some students read them aloud and correct pronunciation (if any) Circle the right letters (5’) - Point to the letters, name the items and revise the sounds - Explain the activity - Ask students to look at the pictures and circle the corresponding letters - Go around and provide any necessary help Answer: – Ff – Dd 3– Bb – Ff – Cc 6– Ff Listen, point and repeat Colour the pictures of the words that start with the f sound Say the f words (Track 40) *Listen, point and repeat (5’) -nShow the students the fork phonics card Point to it and say: /f – fork Ask them to repeat - Do action like fork and say /f/, fork - Encourage the students to the same - Say the letter and ask students the action - Play the CD - Ask students listen, point to and repeat the word *Colour the pictures of the words that start with the f sound Say the f words (5’) - Point to pictures and have students name them - Name some colours and ask the students to repeat - Ask the students to colour the pictures which have Ff in them - Give the students minutes to colour in the ‘frog’ and ‘fish’ that have Ff in them - Go around the classroom providing any necessary help III Production (5’) Craftwork - Ask the students to take out their notebooks - Ask them to choose one word the draw the letter and the picture in their notebooks listen to the story once listen and point to the pictures of the key words Listen, point and repeat look at the pictures and circle the corresponding letters listen and point to the pictures students the action listen, point to and repeat the word color and repeat choose one word the draw the (3) - Tell them to colour the letter and the picture - The first students to finish will show their picture to the class IV Homelink: (2’)Do the exercise in the Activity book letter and the picture Ngày .tháng năm 2017 Tuần .soạn tiết Tổ Trưởng Vũ Thị Hòa (4)
