Lesson 4: write (P.93- 94) I.Aims:

- Help ss know how to make the instructions on how to prepare the tea leaves to keep

mosquitoes away

- By the end of the lesson, ss will be able to write a set of instructions, using the sequencing

1.Language contents: *Grammar:

- Passive forms

- Adjectives followed by – an infinitive - a noun clause - Language review - Future simple - present simple *Vocabulary: soak, mash, wire mesh, bucket

2.Skills: - Developing skill: writing 3.Attitude : It helps ss to have motivation , happiness to communicate with each other in English Besides, the lesson can helps ss work harder

1.Teacher’s preparation: English book, textbook, lesson plan, posters.

2.Ss’preparation: Textbook, notebook, and reference book,review the old lesson, preview vocabularies

*Pre- writing: Introduce the topic of the writing and some new words to Ss

Pre-teach vocab:

- soak (v): ng©m, nhóng (explaination)

- mash (v): nghiỊn (mime) - wire mesh (n): líi d©y kim loại (translation) - bucket (n) : thùng, xô (drawing ) > Have Ss copy down

* Checking vocab: Slap the board Ordering prediction:

- Set the scene: Tell ss they are going to read a text about how to recycle used paper

- Put the verbs on the board randomly in a flow

*Post – writing: Ordering pictures - Stick the pictures on the board randomly - Read the instructions aloud

1 Passive Form in the Present Simple : S + am / is / are + past participle

=> It is used when the subject is affected by the action of the verb
