Unit 4: Our past Lesson : Write (P.42- 43) I.Aims:

- Help ss learn how to write a short imaginary story

- By the end of the lesson ss will be able to use the simple past tense to write a folktale 1.Language content:

*Grammar:the simple past tense

*Vocabulary: wisdom, stripe, straw, servent, escape, tie, graze, burn, 2.Skills: Develop skills : L , S , R & W

3.Attitude and moral sense : It helps ss to have motivation , happiness to communicate with each other in English Besides, the lesson can helps ss work harder

Lesson 6: LANGUAGE FOCUS I.Aims:

- Help ss consolidate all the grammar structures

- By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to use prepositions of time and used to (to talk about the action which always happens in the past) and further practice in the Past Simple Tense 1.Language contents:

2.Skills: - Develop Ss’ four skills (listening, speaking, reading, and writing.)

* Qs: Ask ss to retell the story “How the tiger got his stripes” *Key: One day, as I was in the field and my buffalo grazed/ (was grazing) nearby, a tiger came It asked why the strong buffalo was my servant and I was its master I told the tiger that I had something called wisdom The tiger wanted to see it but I said that I left the wisdom at home that day Then I tied the tiger to a tree with a rope because I didn’t want it to eat my buffalo I went to get some straw and I burned the tiger The tiger escaped, but today it still has black stripes from the burns
