- By the end of this lesson, students will be able to practice doing what they have learnt , know how they understand all the lessons which they have learnt from unit to unit

- Skills: develop listening, reading, writing skills and the uses of language

- Political thought and moral sense: educate students to be more interested in learning English and they will know the importance of getting marks from the test

UNIT 4: MUSIC AND ARTS I Objectives

By the end of this unit, students can

- pronounce sounds / ∫ / and / z / correctly in isolation and in context - use the lexical items related to the topic " Music and arts"

- use comparisons: ( not ) as as the same as different from

- express agreement using too and either

- use some combinations: draw/ pain a picture, play the guiter - read for specific information about traditional arts

- talk / sing or other activities related music and arts - listen to get information about an artist

- write an informal letter of invitation

Students will be developed skills: speaking, listening, reading, and writing II Teaching aids

- Textbook, lesson plans, board, chalks, cues, posters, real objects, pictures, computer, and the CD record

II.Warm up (4’) Chatting:

1 Do you often listen to music? / When? / How often ? What kind of music you like ? Why?

3 What is art / are arts ? Give example -T asks Ss to answer the questions

- Ss answer the questions in front of the class -Teacher writes on the board: Music and arts T explains to the Ss:

- art: the use of the imagination to express ideas or feelings, particularly in painting, drawing or sculpture

- the arts ( in general ): art, music, theatre, literature,ect when you think of them as a group ( T may explain in vietnamese)

- Let Ss open their books and start the lesson III.Newlesson
