Aims and objectives : * Language content : To introduce some new words and structures relating to everyday actions. * Language function:To help the students to aks and answer about the activities everyday. * Educational aim: To make the students know what they have to do everyday. 1. Language : a.Vocabulary: get up, get dressed-brush-wash-have-go b.Structures: I get up – He get up I wash my face – He washes his face. What do you do everymorning? I get up… 2. Skills : Speaking – Listening - Reading - Writing 3. Educational factor : knowing what the students have to do in the morning beforegoing to the school and how to arrange the time table scientific II. Teacher’s and students’ preparation : 1. Method: Communicative approach: 2. Techniques: explanation – repetition – real object – pair work 3. Material needed: pictures – real object 4. Students’ preparation: look up the new words, collecting pictures. 5. Previous exercises: exercises on page 37, 38 III. PROCEDURES IN CLASS : 1. Stabilization: 2 minutes a.Warm–up:greeting b.Checking absence:asking about the absent students 2. Lead- in -Asks the students to say what they usually do in the morning. -Introduces the lesson: “Today we’ll learn the way to tell their activities everyday”. II. Pre-Practice -Shows students 6 pictures of Ba’s daily activities. -Introduces new words. + get (v) (explanation) + get up ( v) (picture) + get dressed (picture) + brush (v) (picture) + have breakfast ( picture) + go (v) (mine) + o’clock (n) (picture) + teeth (n) (drawing) + face (n) (drawing) + wash (v) (picture) + late ( for school) - Checks understanding of the new words: “ slap the board”. -Mentions the difference of verbs after “I” and “he”. -Explains how to conjugate an ordinal verb. -Gives them some examples III. While - Practice - Answer (the question) What they do in the morning. - Listen to the daily activities - Play the game. - Pay attention to the difference. - Take notes . - Look at and take notes. - Repeat. - Read sentence by sentence. - Repeat looking at the pictures. - Read.
