Period: 58 I.Objectives: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to: - describe another person II.Teaching aids: - Teacher cards ( 1 – 16, 33 - 34 classroom objects ), real objects, wall chart, tape recorder. III.Procedures: Time Stages and Contents Teacher’s activities Student’s activities WARM UP: Act. 1: Singing: The Family Song Act. 2: Review the old sentences Who is he? He is my father. -Who is she? She is my mother. - Play the music (Let‘s chant, let’s sing) - Ask Ss to sing the song - Have Ss sit in pairs, give each pair some SC, practice the pattern: Sing in chorus some Ss perform Work in pairs PRESENTATION: Act. 1: Introduce the vocabulary: Tall (review) Short(review) Young(review) Old(review) Pretty Ugly Thin Fat Act. 2: Introduce Who is he? He is my father. - Who is she? She is my mother - Introduce the new words by asking students to look at the pictures - Check if Ss can Listen and repeat remember vocabulary Study the sentences the sentence pattern: She is (old) She is (pretty) Who is she? PRACTICE: Act. 1: Listen and repeat the rhythm: Act. 2: Describe the people: remember the words by asking them to repeat the meaning. - Do the same with other people in other pix. - Divide the class into some groups, in turn, repeat the Listen and read listen and repeat describe each person in the Act. 3: Guess: PRODUCTION: Describe other students in the class: sentences. - Play the music (Let‘s chant, let’s sing) - Have Ss repeat the words and make the same rhythm for the other words - Ask Ss to look at the book pictures.
