Aims: By the end of the lesson, the students can be able to: - Develop such reading micro-skills as scanning for specific ideas, and identifying and correcting false statements. - Use the information they have read to discuss celebrations in their culture. 2. Anticipated problems Ss may have little experience negotiating in English, so T should be ready to provide them with appropriate language to do so. V.
