The team write more places is winner. Give out some places if Ss don’t know. Imagine that a foreign pen pal is coming to stay with you for a week. What activities would you like to do during the visit? Listen and answer. Ex: - go for a walk. - go to the beach. - go to market / churches / .…… Call two Ss read aloud the places will be visited and some activities will do. Ex: temples, churches, beaches, mountains, markets, theaters, pagoda. Give out some suggestion. Ex: * : I think, I will take my friend go to Sam Son beach where we can swim and build sand castles and then we will visit … * : I think this is one of the places we want to take our friends to. We can go to the shopping. Ask Ss listen and answer the questions. Do you have any pen pal? Yes, I do. / No, I don’t. Where does she come from? She comes from Japan. Have you meet her? Yes, I have / No, I haven’t. If she visit Ha Noi, what will you introduce her? Lan has a pen pal and this is the first time this friend come to HN. Listen to the tape. Explainmeaning of new words. Listen and copy in the note. Ask Ss listen and repeat new words in chorus. Call three Ss to read new words in front of the class.
