III.Practice: a.Activity 1: Listen & repeat (10’) -Have ss look at the words father and mother on the screen and focus their attention on the letters coloured differently in both words. -Call on some ss to read aloud these two words. -Guide how to produce the sound of letters th in the word father and the letters er in the word mother. -Produce these sounds a few times. -Give the meaning of the vocabulary: grandfather, grandmother, grandpa, grandma by asking: “Who’s this?” -T plays the recording, ask ss to look and listen carefully. -T reads again then asks ss to repeat each line following T (a few times).
