I recently attended my first art exhibition called “Tỏa 3” during the Tet holiday of 2020 The exhibition took place at Vincom Center for Contemporary Art in Vietnam This event truly made a lasting impression on me and I would love to share my experience with you.

I had not been very involved in Vietnam’s art scene prior to this exhibition, and I only found out about it through friends who described it as a “viral exhibition” that was near my house Despite the lack of media coverage on art exhibitions in Vietnam, the reviews from my friends convinced me to check it out I am so glad I did because it turned out to be one of the best art experiences I have had.

The exhibition featured contemporary art pieces from various genres such as paintings, installations, potteries, sculptures, and 3D projections The themes explored by the artists were incredibly diverse, touching on topics like war remnants, the relationship between humans and nature, and the fusion of the extraordinary and the mundane in daily life.

One particular art piece that stood out to me was the projections of an alternate universe without humans The visuals were stunning, depicting cityscapes covered in flowers, which sparked deep contemplation within me.

As I walked through the different sections of the exhibition, I was captivated by the unique and

interconnected nature of each display The overarching question posed by the exhibition - challenging the audience to reconsider their perception of the world - left me pondering long after I had left.

While not every art piece was easily digestible, I appreciated the challenge they presented in pushing boundaries and perspectives Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed every moment of the exhibition and would highly recommend it to others if given the opportunity to be displayed again.

I recently attended a music festival, which was held in a large park in the city center The event featured a variety of music genres, including rock, pop, and electronic dance music The atmosphere was electric, with colorful lights, booming speakers, and a diverse crowd of music enthusiasts.

The festival left a lasting impression on me, as I was amazed by the talent of the musicians and the energy of the audience The live performances were top-notch, and I found myself dancing and singing along with the crowd It was a truly unforgettable experience that filled me with joy and excitement.

Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed the music festival The vibrant atmosphere, the incredible performances, and the sense of community among the attendees made it a memorable event I felt like I was part of something special, and it was a great opportunity to unwind and have fun I would definitely attend another music festival in the future.

Today, I would like to talk about the day I received the acceptance letter from the University of Languages, which informs me that I had passed the entrance exam with flying colors.

You should say who it was from when you received it what it was about

and explain why it was important to you

I still remember vividly that this letter was sent to me in the morning about 4 years ago When I first took it from the courier, my heart skipped a beat and I was full of the joys of spring I told my families and my friends about that news and they threw a big party afterwards to congratulate me on securing a seat at University of Languages

The letter marked a milestone in my life because it fulfilled my dreams of studying at one of the prestigious universities in my country and becoming an English teacher in the future Additionally, before sitting for the exam, I had to work my fingers to the bone to achieve this success as this exam required careful preparation throughout the whole period in high school, so it was quite challenging for me Beside the required class, I also took the extra ones to broaden my horizons and enhance my skills I pulled out all the stops to do as many assignments as possible to have a good performance in the exam, and this letter really released my worries and stress

The day I received this letter was also the day I knew my hard work paid off It has taught me a profound lesson that “As long as I do not give up and persist in pursuing my goals, I will achieve it someday

irrespective of any harsh situations” It becomes my motto and makes me a strong and determined girl like I am today

Tết usually takes place in late January or early February, following the lunar calendar The festival lasts for several days, and it's celebrated by Vietnamese people all around the world Families gather together, and the atmosphere is filled with joy and excitement.

During Tết, streets and houses are beautifully decorated with colorful flowers, ornaments, and traditional symbols One of the most iconic decorations is the peach blossom tree, which symbolizes growth and prosperity People also clean their houses thoroughly to get rid of bad luck from the previous year One of the highlights of Tết is the traditional food Families prepare a wide variety of delicious dishes, including sticky rice cake, spring rolls, and sticky rice These dishes have symbolic meanings and are believed to bring good luck and blessings for the upcoming year.

Another important aspect of Tết is visiting relatives and friends People make visits to their loved ones' homes, exchange warm wishes, and give lucky money in red envelopes to children and unmarried adults It's a time for reuniting with family, honoring ancestors, and strengthening bonds within the community As for me, I absolutely love Tết!
