requires the massive exploitation of natural resources, causing series of environmental changes Environmental pollution becomes a big challenge that our country has been facing recently The theme summarizes management theory and studies human resources situation of human resource management in Hoang Gia industry and trade company limited through the analysis of the application of human resources management policies, the situation of the implementation of the human resources managing functions and the results reflected in the production and business results Accordingly, this situation shows us the overall and fairly accurate assessment in terms of achievements and weak aspects of the policies in using human resources of the company Based on that, it is necessary to combine the use of management theory and practice of human resources in order to find some solutions to improve the efficiency of human resources most effectively and specifically Being recommended and allowed by English Department – Vietnam University of Trade, I have gratefully experienced as an intern in Administration Office of Hoang Gia industry and trading company limited After one month (from 04/01/2016 to 28/01/2016), under the valuable support and instruction of managers and colleges in the company, I was able to apply the knowledge obtained at university into practice, meanwhile Hoang Gia Industry and Trade Company Limited was founded in May 2009 After years of development and business in various fields, Hoang Gia has achieved an array of great success With its business model which is the transport business in the form of taxis, the company has created a niche in customer satisfaction in Soc Son district as well as internal Hanoi Main products: Among the above fields of business, the transport of passengers by taxis is mainstream With the various means of transport including over 100 small tourist vehicles with mainly 5-seat buses (Vios, Kia Morning, Chevrolet Spark) and 8-seat ones (Innova) To organize the management and operation of production and business, the company uses forms as follows: - Form of taxis: is the form in which business uses to manage the entire force transporting passengers by taxis - Form of subscribers: In this form, the vehicles will be assigned to each driver and the fleet who will cooperate with the drivers to seek customers Once customers want to rent a car, then the fleet is responsible for trading and contracting with customers (including those that are driving self-tapping) After signing the contract with the customer, our team will assign each car to operate After each trip the driver must return trip payment of such revenue for the company and the company will share turnover rate for drivers - Form of allotment management: The company uses this form to take advantage of the dynamic driving properties on the market In this way the company will deliver the car to drivers to really self-preserve and self-seek client source Simultaneously the company also delivers revenue rate level in month for them to implement, drivers have pay monthly enough revenue for the company, the company gives drivers such exactly when driving to report back to the Board of Directors to solve such problems and repair errors on the radio and the defect on the meter - HR Administrative Department: Organizes and use employees, address policies on wages and remuneration, social insurance and allowances for the employees, communicate with foreign customers Implement administrative management, staff management, recruiting, training to improve the skill and resolve salary and bonuses issue for staff and workers - Accounting Department: manages the company’s capital which are fixed assets and liquid assets The company’s market After years of operation in the field of providing taxis services and trading transactions to organizations as well as businesses and foreigners, Hoang Gia has established itself as a firm position on the domestic market as well as abroad Hoang Gia has asserted himself as a leading company in the field of taxis services and trading autos, computers, office equipments and holding tours for organizations, individuals and enterprises The company's main market is the domestic market, which extends from North to South However, the company focused on exploiting two major cities Hanoi and Thai Nguyen City because there are located most of businesses of the country such as: Samsung, Canon, Nikon,… that make easier and more convenient for advertisement and promotion Moreover, Hoang Gia also expands toward foreign markets by associating and cooperating with companies in Southeast Asia and some enterprises in Europe This will open up a vast trading market and profitable advantages for the company in the future 2.1.2 The major products of Hoang Gia Below is a list of the main products of the company: Trading computers Trading, transacting, leasing and consigning autos Taxis services Holding local and foreign tours Trasporting and delivering Logisstics In addition to these products which are manufactured directly at the workshop in Hanoi, Hoang Gia also co-product building automotive components, corporations leading autos and Vietnam as: Vinaxuki, Truong Hai Auto, Toyota, Hyundai, etc Hoang Gia conpany has built extensive product system and be capable to meet the needs of customers in domestics and foreign such as: tourism, transportation, automotive components, autos, etc 2.1.3 Customers In the early years of establishment, the company's clients are mainly small business organizations across the country However, after years of operations, the company has expanded its domestic market in the entire country, so the number of the company's customers also increased significantly The company's major customers are mostly government institutions, research centers, ministries and corporations in the country Some big and loyal customers of Hoang Gia are Petro Vietnam Insurance Joint Stock Corporation, Ministry of Science and Technology, State Bank of Vietnam, etc 2.2 Current situation of business performance 2.2.1 Hoang ‘holding local and foreign tours’ that bring revenue of 48.000.450.000 VND Other products have high revenues The lowest revenue belongs to ‘transporting and delivering Logistics’, only reached 17,332,501,000 According to the financial report in three years 2012, 2013 and 2014 of Hoang Gia above, we can easily identify that business performance tends to increase with remarkable figures Specifically as below: Total assets of the company increase constantly from 2012 to 2014, estimated of 6.532.532.844 VND This reflects the financial resources and facilities of the company are more and more stable and increased over time Sales of the company from 2012 to 2013 increased significantly, from 40.185.893.569 VND to 52.531.526.469 VND Inspire of due to the impact of the economic crisis in 2010, demand for products of the business did not drop From 2013 to 2014, total revenues of the company rose sharply, reaching 14.265.494.451 VND 2.2.2 The labor situation and labor in 2014, we can see that the workforce of the company is small but quite rich in expertise The total number of employees in 2014 was 284 people, including 53 people in the business sector and 221 people in the manufacturing sector As a company has the strength of marketing and sales, so qualifications required of employees is also quite high, this is the reason why Sale Department has up to 20 people with university degree The number of workers with secondary and college level also accounts for a high proportion of the labor structure of the company, concretely 100 people The amount of unskilled workers is 121 people Most of the employees in the company are skilled, highly professional and have good experience 2.3 The achievements of the company After years of operation, Hoang Gia has achieved success not only in terms of system management of the company but also the product distribution These successes ensure permanence, stability and pave the way towards greater success in the future Currently, Hoang Gia has a solid background in finance and the perfect condition of facilities with a system of organizational structured very closely with the technical departments undertaken by a team of the elite, capacity and experience in an optimal working environment with many worthy and treatment With the business reputation, Hoang Gia constantly adjusts the quality of products and services to fit and compliance targets of the company In recent years, Hoang Gia has implemented and transacted successfully some great value contracts with organizations, ministries, usage in the company 3.1.1 The English using situation In the era of economic globalization, Vietnam joined the major economic institutions such as the WTO, AFTA, etc which makes the economy opens more increasingly Therefore, there are more opportunities for countries to exchange mutual culture and economy However, it also creates challenges in competing with foreign enterprises and businesses are more difficult in the recruitment Besides qualifications, expertise, experience, English becomes an important criterion for candidates Having the vision of the importance of English developed and open market, Hoang Gia has concentrated on the recruitment and English practice in work efficiently In the recent years, there has been a gradual improvement in the English usage of the company staff, especially the staff of Sales and Marketing They are all graduates from major universities across the country and can speak English fluently and communicate and work well with foreigners However, the company also faced a number of obstacles in the use of English The staffs have little communicational environment to use English, especially workers in the manufacturing sector except work requirements in the goods export and import The staffs always meet difficulties in the production process and must be through an intermediary to translate English orders from foreign companies It also will be difficult to bring efficiency in the design process and production because the translator cannot fully convey the idea of customers so consequence is poor product quality This directly affects the reputation and financial performance of the company 3.1.2 Suggested solutions Foreign languages in modern economic environment play a very important role for each company It is critical to the future development and direction of the company's global future To improve the weak situation in the use of English in business, Hoang Gia should invest in organizing courses and create conditions for the employees to have the opportunity to participate in English training courses Board of management should encourage employees to participate in this course to improve qualifications and skills for themselves In addition, the company also creates opportunities for staffs to negotiate and sign contracts with foreign partners and makes practical learning environment for employees This not only helps employees improve their professional skills but also encourage the spirit of each employee 3.2 Current problems in operation 3.2.1 Human resources The structure of the company's labor is plentiful, but the professional qualifications of the staff are not equal Some employees at the company graduated from the university, but they also have the weakness of practical experience In the business environment of fierce competition, real experience is a crucial factor for the survival and development of the company The number of unskilled workers in the company is quite high, the lack of qualifications and expertise makes them weak in proposing innovative ideas and to develop company These employees just comply with the requirements from the leader without creativity in the production A small number of staff still studies at postgraduate course that makes their labor time and contribution not the highest efficiency 3.2.2 Import activities For a manufacturing company, the shortage of raw materials is inevitable Currently, Hoang Gia has to import some products and raw materials from abroad This makes many difficulties in production and business Firstly, the import of raw materials makes the company spend much money on products and the import procedures that directly affects the price of output and competitiveness of firms in the market Secondly, company will have to depend on the suppliers in price, delivery time and product quality that impacts the production and timely delivery to customers These undermine the competitiveness of company in the market 3.2.3 Market development In the global economy, the competition between companies becomes more and more severe Therefore, each company must make effort to expand the market and increase the number of customers, Hoang Gia is not except It is more difficult for the domestic market to increase due to the presence of companies operating in this field Currently, in Vietnam, there are many big companies supplying gifts such as Truong Hai Group, etc Furthermore, the expansion into foreign markets is more challenging due to the provisions of law, international business terms and the company also faces the competition with foreign companies operating in the same industry 3.3 Recommendations 3.3.1 Labor training promotion Human resource is critical to the success or failure of the enterprise as well as factors affecting the survival and development of enterprises over time Therefore, the company should focus on staff quality and efficiency improvement Every year, Hoang Gia should organize training courses to improve and enhance the professional skills The company should appoint the staff to participate in international conferences and enable employees to be exposed to the international business environment This helps employees have the opportunity to experience the modern technology in the world to train and apply to the production and trading of company Moreover, Hoang Gia should pay attention to improve the quality of life for all employees to encourage work spirit, dedication of the staff and create the highest performance 3.3.2 Prestige increase and brand strengthen The customer is the person who directly decides the existence of the enterprise A business does not create prestige among customers meaning that the company will decline With the growing economic and cultural development, the needs and demands of customers become more demanding Hoang Gia needs to be aware and respond reasonably with the change of market’s taste to create the right product to meet the needs of customers Moreover, the company always needs to keep improving product quality and specialization activities of negotiations and transactions to create the credibility in the hearts of customers so that company can be positioned in the market to continue growing in the global market 3.3.3 Marketing activities promotion Society has motivated the technology in the world strongly Therefore, the traditional advertising tools and marketing are no longer effective as before Hoang Gia should focus on promoting marketing activities by approaching more modern and convenient advertisements via social networks as Facebook, Twitter, etc This is a very potential marketing environment with a large number of participants, so company can easily promote their products to customers and look for business partners A company with strengths in marketing will have the opportunity to expand the larger market, grow customer base and increase competitiveness in the market to create a good step towards the international market CONCLUSION
