When I look back and think about the teacher who inspire me to become a teacher, this name instantly strikes my mind without a second thought I met Ms Giang for the first time when I was an intern at Nguyen Du Primary School She was my instructor Initially, I thought that she would be a tough teacher and I would have to be very polite in front of her I got this impression mostly because of her serious face and tidy dress-up But soon I found that she was a very friendly person and I did not have to be "very polite" with her She never made things complicated and tried over and over again to explain something to us She had a unique way of teaching and could explain complex topics very easily No matter for how long she takes classes but not for a single moment you will feel distracted because of her unique and engaging concept delivery in the classroom She actually ignited my love for teaching Her commitment, passion and dedication to this noble profession are an inspiration to many She taught me teaching is not just having professional qualifications but it needs a deep feeling for children and an interest to deliver in the class She taught me each and everything about teaching, from classroom management to the preparation of question papers Each step I took was with her support and encouragement When I felt most depressed she told me that: “If you keep following your dream, you are being perfect” Those words made me feel more motivated, and that I need to learn, with a willing attitude She made me believe anything I did was possible I consider myself exceptionally fortunate to have been taught and guided by this excellent teacher throughout my academic life She makes me understand that teaching is not just a job, it's a profession that needs interest, passion, and commitment Love and care always make a difference in the classroom, no matter how knowledgeable a teacher may be Question 2: COVID-19 is pandemic that has serious impact on human life around the world In about 500 words, describe what you as a primary school teacher to help prevent the spread of it Since 2020, the Covid 19 pandemic has been a thorny issue all over the world Vietnam is no exception, the outbreak of the disease in June exerted negative impacts on every aspect of the society: economy, health care, and education as well Due to the vulnerability of schools and children, several necessary steps have been applied including shutting down education facilities, with priority is to stop contagion As a primary teacher, I myself have the responsibility to contribute to the prevention of the spread of covid 19 First of all, a teacher is also a citizen of the nation, we have to strictly follow the laws enacted authority Those are basic instructions to protect our family, our colleague and ourself From national and international experience, social distancing and vaccination have been proved as the most effective means to stop Coronavirus My responsibility is to practice social distancing and take the vaccine as recommended By following public instructions, I myself become a living example for my students Secondly, in the war against virus, knowledge is our weapon and our job is to equip ourself Teachers should study diseasefrom television, the internet, and reliable sources Understanding how the virus transmits, how to face masks and vaccines could protect people, which behavior could harm to people, and so on would help us lower the risk of being contaminated Besides, only if teachers have strong fundamental knowledge, they could show students the right things to On the other hand, one of the most crucial role of teachers is to deliver knowledge and most children have a strong belief in their teachers That is the reason why a teacher should play a vital part in propagating self-awareness in society Our responsibility is to teach the children how to avoid activities that could put them in danger Children are ignorant, they could be easily affected by information from social media and not all of them are trustworthy Therefore, the teacher should be the one who counters the fake news and guide children to access reliable sources Moreover, as Lenin once said, studying is nonstop School shutting down is not an excuse for postponing education By applying alternative means such as online teaching, the teacher could ensure children are made known as much as the traditional way Last but not least, contribution to the public effort of eradicating disease is civic duty and teacher is no exception Besides abiding to the law, spending free time on voluntary works is one way to help the community There are several examples such as taking part in public surveillance teams to protect green zone, joining a neighborhood support group to help to supply families under quarantine In case that the situation not allows, teachers can side with the community by doing charity work such as donating National Covid Vaccine Fund or send aid to areas suffering from the epidemic In conclusion, a teacher first and foremost has to fulfill civic duties during the pandemic of Covid 19 by being cooperative with regulations authorized by the government After that, teachers are examples for children and even adults around them to have appropriate behavior That is how we fight against the virus Question 3: Online learning is one of the fastest-growing modes of education and people are widely accepting it Some people belive that studyng online is more effective than studying on campus while other disagree Discuss the advantages and disadvangtages of online learning Nowadays, the development of Internet and technology have provided many opportunities for student around the world to attend a class where it is not compulsory to attend in person Especially in recent times, because of the COVID-19 pandemic, many online courses are is becoming increasingly popular Some people assume that online learning is inefficient However, others argue that online learning has some benefits This essay will discuss the advantages and disadvantages of online learning, but I believe that there will be more difficulties than benefits I will start by looking at the advantages, the biggest benefit of the online courses is extremely convenient It can be accessed from anywhere with a device and internet connection Students can stay in bed and complete assignment or take attendance while having breakfast They not need drive or take a taxi to class instead of sitting at home to study in their own time and especially for free This helps you save money and time Alternatively, if they only have some spare minutes, they could also use that time to complete an assignment on their phone or laptop Another added benefit of getting your education online is that all documentation needed for learning will be stored and easily accessible All communication, discussions, and training materials with be stored in a database allowing you easier access Especially, class recordings are available for later references Moreover, in the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, it is clear that attending school during this period has a lot of dangers Online learning also enables institutions to protect faculty, staff, and students through the COVID-19 pandemic Turning to the other side of issue, online learning is a major problem The first reason is students can easily be lazy and distracted when taking an online course if they are not selfconscious Most students tend to open common social websites such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, etc to update themselves on information as well as sign in Messenger to chat with friends when they are online Once they are sunk in the information that they get from these websites, it will be very hard for them to concentrate on their studies and they will waste a lot of time on doing nothing related to the lessons One of the major disadvantages faced by students learning online is managing screen time Online education requires staying logged in on the screen for an extended period regularly Long-duration screen time becomes a great difficulty for the students and harmful for their health as well, especially the eyes Another disadvantage includes technical glitches Poor Internet connectivity issues also arise multiple times during online sessions Small towns/cities, urban areas face the most difficulty maintaining stable Internet connection It destroys the learning of the students Other disadvantages include: Feeling of isolation by individuals, Minimal peer help, Group work not as efficient as it would be if done offline To sum up, as mentioned above, online learning, although having a few benefits in this pandemic situation, is more likely to have drawbacks In spite of the fact that it may be convenient for some people, it can’t totally replace traditional teaching in classrooms Personally, I believe that online learning still has many difficulties that need to be gradually overcome Question 4: Find 100 words about the topic “Natuaral science in primary education” Translate these word into Vietnamese
