difficulties and experiences 2.2.1 Difficulties: Internships are a great opportunity for undergraduates to gain experience in the real world of work and the environment in which it will be performed As a result, challenges during the internship are unavoidable, and I am no exception During my 4-week internship at the company, it is true that I faced some difficulties to complete my work well First and foremost, I lack teaching skills because I have never worked as a teaching assistant or tutor As a student majoring in Business English, my focus is 12 primarily on economic jobs rather than language development or human education When I started this internship, that became a barrier that left me perplexed I believe it is difficult to stand in front of a large group of students and confidently and engagingly teach Secondly, the biggest difficulty is taking charge of online classes The disadvantage of online classes is that it is easy to lose interaction between teachers and students for a variety of unintended reasons It was really a challenge for me to maintain student focus and not interrupt the lesson Meanwhile, the majority of my students are in primary school, and at such a young age, they are very playful and easily bored Next, I had difficulty teaching pronunciation when I was in charge of an online communication class Because teachers and students only communicate through screens, many of the ways teachers want to communicate with gestures are difficult for students to understand I have tried to describe the position of each part of the mouth when pronouncing any sound, but it appears to be very difficult to follow and imagine, especially when my students are young They find it quite abstract Finally, I was unable to produce clear translations that were easy for children to understand because my academic language in both the source and target languages was poor As a result, I had to read a lot of teaching materials and consult with my mentor in order to improve my skill to make teaching more understandable 2.2.2 The experiences Despite some difficulties during my internship, I gained a lot of knowledge, skills, and valuable experiences for my future work Firstly, I had the opportunity to learn English pedagogical skills at the center I received training not only in teaching techniques and general curriculum but also in the psychology of human education As a result, I was able to broaden my knowledge in this field and apply it to future work Furthermore, I had the opportunity to observe Mr Tung Tran's and other students' classes, so I observed how the class was organized and recorded many important things for my class I 13
