Outline: 1.1 Test standard • ASTM C 207 • ASTM D 3260 1.2 Explanation This test should guarantee the resistance against mortar. 2. Work instruction 2.1 Brief description of the procedure Mortar mixed accordingly to ASTM C 207 is put on the coated test sheet metal. The test has to take place accordingly to ASTM D 3260. 2.2 Requirements After 24 hours the mortar should be removed easily and without arrears. Mechanical violations of the coating are not to be considered by grains of sand. 3. Test intervals 3.1 Original inspection At the time of the termination of a development a check is to be executed before the mass production. 3.1 Repeat inspection The check is to be executed in an interval of one year. Those products, which pass through annual system inspections of the GSB or Qualicoat, are excluded. 4. Analysis The analysis has to take place without consideration from possibly occurring scratches. The removal of the mortar must be easily possible, there mustn’t be any color modification in the powder coating. If the requirements are not fulfilled all loads are to be locked and the customer about the lack to be informed. Responsibility 5.1 Original inspections • The internal checks are passed on by the laboratory conductor or in its absence by its deputy to the laborants trusted with the check. • The results are in that above mentioned sequence to transmit. • With negative results the product may not become certified for the sales. The prescription should accordingly be improved. 5.2 Repeat inspections • The inspection results are to be transmitted to the responsible laboratory conductor or in its absence to its deputy, in order to initiate, if necessary, following steps. • With a negative result the barrier of the product is to be arranged by the QA and a recheck from the above mentioned initiated. This product is locked out from the GSB till repeat inspections. The sales conductor and its deputies are informed about the product barrier. 5.3 Customer information • The sales department has to inform the customers about the loss of the GSB - permission. • All customers which purchased this product are to be informed about the result. . test should guarantee the resistance against mortar. 2.
