2009 I/ TÊN ĐỀ TÀI: “TÀI LIỆU GIÚP GIÁO VIÊN DẠY TỐT VÀ HỌC SINH HỌC TỐT CHỦ ĐỀ TỰ CHỌN TIẾNG ANH CHỦ ĐỀ: “CELEBRATIONS” II/ ĐẶT VẤN ĐỀ: Năm học 2008 – 2009 năm học tiếp tục triển khai thực nhiệm vụ dạy học các chủ đề tự chọn các môn học nhà trường phổ thông nói chung, bậc THCS nói riêng Quyết định GD – ĐT ban hành năm 2002 Thực định trên, chúng ta nhận thấy rằng: Việc dạy học tự chọn các nhà trường phổ thông là nhằm mục đích tăng cường tính phân hoá giáo dục Sự khẳng định này dựa trên sở tồn khách quan khác biệt người học tâm lý, thể chất, và lực và khác biệt yêu cầu và điều kiện kinh tế, xã hội tự nhiên các vùng dân cư khác Mục tiêu việc dạy học theo các chủ đề tự chọn là nhằm: 1/ Bổ sung và khai thác sâu nội dung chương trình giáo dục bắt buộc làm cho chương trình giáo dục THCS có tính phân hoá và bên cạnh đó giúp học sinh lĩnh hội kiến thức để tiếp tục theo học bậc cao 2/ Đáp ứng nhu cầu và nguyện vọng học tập các đối tượng học sinh khác - Tạo điều kiện cho học sinh yếu học tập có thể nắm bắt kiến thức chương trình - Trang bị cho học sinh bậc THCS có vốn kiến thức định để làm hành trang bước vào bậc PHTH - Đặc biệt với môn học tự chọn đã đáp ứng nhu cầu học tập học sinh khiếu - Hỗ trợ phần không nhỏ cho học sinh không có đủ điều kiện tiếp tục học lên mà phải bước vào sống lao động Xuất phát từ việc thực chủ trương Bộ giáo dục đổi phương pháp dạy học và dạy học tự chọn nhà trường phổ thông nói chung bậc THCS nói riêng đã trở thành quy chế và cần thực tất các khối lớp Tuy nhiên thực tế việc dạy học tự chọn còn là vấn đề gây không ít khó khăn cho thầy cô giáo và học sinh chúng ta Bên cạnh đó giáo viên chúng ta chưa có hướng dẫn cụ thể và học sinh chưa nắm mục đích, yêu cầu môn học tự chọn từ đó dẫn đến các em chưa thích thú với việc học tự chọn Nhằm định hướng cách có hệ thống các bài học chủ đề tự chọn chương trình Tiếng Anh lớp bậc THCS Điều mong muốn quý thầy cô chúng ta có tài liệu tham khảo quá trình dạy học tự chọn giúp cho các em dễ dàng tiếp thu, củng cố, khắc sâu và nâng cao các kiến thức đã học Đồng thời qua đó giúp các em tự học tập, rèn luyện và nâng cao các kỹ môn Tiếng Anh “ Nghe, Nói, Đọc, Viết” thông qua các phương pháp mà thầy cô đã cung cấp cho các em Qua ba năm dạy học tự chọn cho học sinh, thân tôi đã nghiên cứu và áp dụng viết : “Tài liệu giúp giáo viên dạy tốt và học sinh học tốt chủ đề tự chọn Tiếng Anh 9” Trong số chủ đề viết, tôi xin giới thiệu chủ đề bám sát : “CELEBRATIONS” III/ CƠ SỞ LÝ LUẬN: Như chúng ta biết, kế hoạch giáo dục trường THCS ban hành kèm theo định số 03/2002/QĐ - Bộ GD & ĐT trưởng Bộ Giáo dục và Đào tạo ngày 24 tháng 01 năm 2002 phân phối thời lượng tiết/ tuần dạy học các chủ đề tự chọn cho học sinh bậc học THCS và các công văn hướng dẫn Bộ, Sở, Phòng GD – ĐT việc dạy học các chủ đề tự chọn Mục tiêu dạy học tự chọn là góp phần thực dạy học phân hoá trên sở bảo đảm mặt chuẩn kiến thức thống nhất, phần dành cho việc bám sát, nâng cao kiến thức, kỹ các môn phân hoá , phần khác dành cho việc cung cấp số nội dung theo nhu cầu người học và yêu cầu cộng đồng nhằm phát triển lực và hướng nghiệp cho học sinh Xuất phát từ tình hình thực tế vậy, việc dạy học tự chọn đã trở thành hình thức dạy học có tính pháp qui, chúng ta cần phải nghiên cứu thực nghiệm và triển khai mức độ hợp lý cùng với các hình thức dạy học khác quy định các Quyết định 03/2002/QĐ – BGD &ĐT và 04/2002/QĐ – BGD & ĐT bậc học Trung học Việt Nam thời gian tới Trên tinh thần đó, cụ thể vào nội dung tài liệu dạy học theo các chủ đề tự chọn trường THCS môn Tiếng Anh khối lớp Căn từ thực trạng chất lượng học tập rèn luyện các kỹ môn ngoại ngữ học sinh trường nơi tôi trực tiếp giảng dạy Bản thân đã sâu vào nghiên cứu các chủ đề tự chọn để giảng dạy cho học sinh khối Thông qua đề tài này, tôi tin tưởng giáo viên chúng ta có số kiến thức liên quan đến việc giảng dạy hiệu các kỹ môn để cung cấp cho học sinh đồng thời qua đó giúp cho học sinh có điều kiện nghiên cứu sâu các ngày lễ văn hoá trên toàn giới Từ đó các em có thể hiểu sâu phương pháp học tập và rèn luyện kỹ ngôn ngữ khác và từ đó có thể lựa chọn cho mình phương pháp học tập tốt IV/ CƠ SỞ THỰC TIỄN: Đây là chủ đề tự chọn có tính bám sát, hỗ trợ kiến thức tương đối dễ hiểu, chủ yếu dành cho học sinh đại trà nhằm giúp các em hiểu rõ tầm quan trọng môn ngoại ngữ và giúp các em có phương pháp học tập tốt và hiệu Qua đó giúp các em có điều kiện rèn luyện thêm các kỹ ngôn ngữ “ Nghe – Nói - Đọc - Viết” môn Tiếng Anh bậc THCS Xuất phát từ tình hình thực tiễn các em có thái độ học tập tốt và biết vận dụng gì đã lĩnh hội thông qua các chủ đề tự chọn, từ đó tạo cho các em có kiến thức vững vàng bước vào sống thời kỳ công nghiệp hoá, đại hoá và thời kỳ hội nhập Chính vì mà thầy cô giáo chúng ta cần phải có tài liệu bổ ích để giảng dạy cho học sinh tạo tiền đề cho các em ham thích học ngoại ngữ và góp phần nâng cao chất lượng môn Xuất phát từ sở thực tiễn, nhằm để trang bị cho học sinh có kiến thức Ngoại Ngữ vững vàng, qua việc tìm hiểu số vấn đề chương trình chính khoá kết hợp với việc dạy học các chủ đề tự chọn Bản thân tôi đã đầu tư nghiên cứu tài liệu liên quan để soạn các chủ đề dạy học tự chọn môn Tiếng Anh lớp Qua nội dung các chủ đề tự chọn giúp các em dễ dàng việc tiếp thu, củng cố, khắc sâu và vận dụng tốt kiến thức đã học vào nội dung chương trình sách giáo khoa V/ NỘI DUNG NGHIÊN CỨU: Đề tài gồm 02 phần: * Nội dung bài dạy và hướng dẫn cho giáo viên thực các kỹ bài dạy và đáp án gợi ý cho nội dung * Nội dung dành cho học sinh để nghiên cứu học tập CHỦ ĐỀ TỰ CHỌN TIẾNG ANH 9: CHỦ ĐỀ BÁM SÁT “CELEBRATIONS” * NỘI DUNG DÀNH CHO GIÁO VIÊN A/ Mục tiêu: I/ Nội dung chủ điểm: - giúp cho học sinh nắm bắt và hiểu sâu thêm các thực hành các kỹ ngôn ngữ và tạo điều kiện cho các em trau dồi và rèn luyện các kỹ ngôn ngữ đó cách có hiệu Qua đề tài này còn cung cấp cho các em số điểm ngữ pháp Tiếng Anh như: Mệnh đề tính ngữ (adjective clause) , mệnh đề trạng ngữ nhượng (Adverb clause of concession) nhằm giúp cho các em có kiến thức để vận dụng vào các bài tập và bài kiểm tra chương trình học chính khoá Qua các tiết học chủ đề tự chọn các em có thể tự tin quá trình luyện tập các kỹ ngôn ngữ như: “Nghe, Nói, Đọc, Viết” giao tiếp và góp phần làm cho tiết học ngoại ngữ thêm phần sinh động, thú vị, bổ ích và chất lượng ngày càng đạt hiệu đạt hiệu Ngoài với đề tài này còn giới thiệu cho các em ý nghĩa các ngày lễ trên giới nói chung đất nước ta nói riêng, từ đó giúp cho các em có thể nắm bắt phong tục tập quán tham gia tổ chức các ngày lễ Như chúng ta đã biết, vì điều kiện phương tiện và môi trường hỗ trợ cho việc học tập và thực hành giao tiếp các em chưa đầu tư đúng mức Bởi lẽ là các em là học sinh vùng nông thôn, đời sống kinh tế còn nhiều khó khăn, cho nên việc mua sắm trang thiết bị học tập có thiếu thốn định Mặt khác kiến thức ngôn ngữ còn nhiều hạn chế nên còn khó khăn việc rèn luyện các kỹ Tâm lý sợ mắc lỗi, ngại ngùng giao tiếp quá trình học tập còn tồn Vì thời gian đến, tiến hành dạy tự chọn, thân tôi rút kinh nghiệm và không ngừng nghiên cứu, bổ
