It’s a book III Skills: Reading, Listening and Speaking IV Methods: PPP (Listen and repeat, ordering word, picture drill) V Teaching aids: Pictures, powerpoint slides, picture cards, real objects VI Time: 35 minutes VII Procedure: Steps Warm up : (7’) Play a game : Lucky and Number Presentation: (22’) Teacher’s activities Students’ activities - T introduces the rule of the game: - Divide class into two groups - Ss listen and play a game -Model: turn on the screen (slide 2, 3) and choose any number, each number has one pet and one or many stars, number stars will be your mark - Ask Ss to practise: choose number - Ss choose - Write number stars which each group get on the board - Count stars and reward to the group win - Read four words: cat, dog, bird, - Ss repeat fish (twice) (slide 13) - Introduce the context of the dialogue by asking some questions: (2) Activity 1: Activity 2: Activity 3: *Production Who is he/ she? - Ss answer Where are they?
