(1)Week: Period: 27 Date of preparation: 21/10/ 2012 Date of teaching: 25/10/ 2012 UNIT 5: STUDY HABITS LESSON 1: GETTING STARTED & LISTEN AND READ I OBJECTIVES: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to: - Ask and answer questions about the lesson schedule of different subjects - Understand the dialogue between Jim and his Mom about his study - Introduce structure: reported speech II PREPARATIONS: Book, cassette tape III PROCEDURES: Teacher’s activities Students’ activities (2) Warm – Up: (5’) - Have students write “Network” in groups - Group works School Subjects - Chat with students: a What subjects are you good / bad at? b What subjects you like best? Why? c How often you have (math)?
