* Laguage content : To introduce the students something, someone relating to family

To enable them to know some occupation

To teach them possessive adjectives and their uses * Language function: To make them ask and answer about the occupations To enable them to tell about their families

To help them speak more fluently

* Educational aim: To make them aware of the members of their families and their occupation

To teach them the love for working 1. Language :

a.Vocabulary: doctor – nurse – engineer, my – your, his - their , her - our b.Structures: What they do? They are students

What does he do? He’s an engineer 2 Skills : Speaking – Listening - Reading - Writing

3 Educational factor : Asking and answering about their parent’s occupations II. Teacher’s and students’ preparation :

I Lead in

- Asks the students to write complete sentences on the board with the given words Ex:

-Remarks the sentences and then introduces the new lesson II Pre-Practice

-Shows them the picture of a family, sets a scone and asks questinons :

+ Who’s this? / + Who’s that? -Introduces some more words on occupations : ( using the picture)

- Checks understanding of the new words: “ slap the board”

- Write sentences

- Plays the cassette and lets the students and repeat without opening the books

-Asks them to repeat the sentences individually the chorially

-Advises them to work a short passage about Mr Kien’s family
