Aims and objectives : * Language content : To check the previous knowledge of the students Some kinds of questions – Forms of verb tobe and the ways to answer. * Language function: Ask the students to complete the open sentences, to answer the questions and write some simple sentences * Educational aim: To teach them the way to do the text by themselves, not to copy their friends stask. 1. Language : a.Vocabulary: the locabulary related to greetings numbers to 100 school and classroom, locations,- objects in the home, object in the school-question words- family relationship-occupations. b.Structures: Forms of tobe-imparative. How many …? Question words-greetings, this, that, these, those. 2. Skills : Speaking – Listening - Reading - Writing 3. Educational factor : The students themselves with their tasks II. Teacher’s and students’ preparation : 1. Method: Communicative approach: 2. Techniques: Ask answer ( questions and answer ) filling gaps 3. Material needed: Photocoppies of the test 4. Students’ preparation: Review the structres and vocabulary 5. Previous exercises: III. PROCEDURES IN CLASS : 1. Lead- in: 1. Sets the situation: Review the vocabulary and structures from unit 1 to unit 3. 2. Presents the new lesson: Points some blanks in the exercises and says: “ How do you read or write in English? Try to remember the units from 1 to 3. Now, let’s begin the lesson “ grammar practice”. II. Pre – Practice. - Reminds the Ss of the grammar notes learnt from unit 1 to unit 3 and gives the notes. 1. To be : am, is, are (explains the usage and forms of to be) 2. Commands: - Uses physical actions and asks the Ss to say the situation in English. 3. How many… ? - Presents some objects in class to elicit the Ss to say the questions with “ How many….?. Then, asks the Ss to say the grammar structure. 4. Wh- question words. - Asks the Ss to say some question words learnt from unit 1 to unit 3. 5. Numbers - Asks the Ss how many numbers they can count. 6. Greetings - Asks the Ss about different - Listen to her. - Focus on the teacher’s words to guess what they are listening. - Listen to her and write down. Period : 18 LESSON : GRAMMAR PRACTICE. Content : 1. To be: am, is are I = am You, they, we = are She, he, it = is. 2. Commands: Ex: + come in + sit down 3. How many…. are there? - There is / are. 4.
