At the end of the lessons, pupils can: - I remember all know ledges: vocabulary and grammar that they have learnt. - Apply their knowledge to do exercises in language focus and other exercises fluently and exactly. II. Contents: 1) Vocabulary: 2) Grammar: - How much is it? - Prepositions - Past simple tenses - Simple present, future. - More, lest, fewer. 3) Skills: Speaking and writing. III. Teaching aids: - A sub-board written on the form of simple past, simple present and simple future IV. Procedure: Activities Contents 1. Warm up: (5’) - Teacher introduces all knowledge that pupils will learn in the lesson. - Teacher gives out some prepositions and gets pupils to play with word "Lucky number" - Teacher gives out the flash card and asks pupils to compare. 2. Practice: (25’) - Teacher introduces. - Teacher reads the dialogue once. - Guide pupils to read. - Get pupils read the dialogue in pairs in silence. - Call some to read the text. - Get pupils to repeat form of asking about price. - Get pupils to work in pairs to make similar dialogues. Near, beside / next to, opposite, between, to the right, to the left Flash card: Near, opposite, between, to the right. → You are bingo. 1. How much is it? a. Aim. At the end of the lesson pupils can: - Know how to read and use some new words. - Read comprehension a letter from Hoa's mom, answer questions well - Guides or show sbd to do sth. II. Contents: 1) Vocabulary: New words about health and hygiene. 2) Grammar: - Simple present - Adverbs of frequency - Do sth / don't do sth III. Teaching aids: - A sub-board written on the form of simple present IV. Procedure: Activities Contents 1. Warm up: (5’) - Guide pupils to play a game named "Noughts and crosses" - Gets pupils to look at the letter and guess who wrote letter to Hoa. - Teacher says something to introduce the theme of the lesson: Health and hygiene. 2. Presentation: (10’) - Ask pupils some questions: - Then teacher introduces: Hoa's parents live in Hue and she lives and studies in Ha Noi. You are going to read a letter which Hoa's mother sent her. - Then teacher reads the letter once first. - Teacher introduces some new words. - Guides pupils to get the use and meaning of them. - Teacher reads new words once first. - Guide pupils to read new words twice or more. - Get pupils to read new words in silence. - Gets one by one to read new words loudly. - Check pupils' reading. 3. Contents: 1) Vocabulary: New words about health and hygiene. 2) Grammar: Simple present. III. Teaching aids: - Planning lesson, teacher's and student's books. - A color pictures about the dialogue. IV. Procedure: Activities Contents 1. Warm up:(10’) a. Check the old lesson: - Gets 2 pupils to do chalk board. - Teacher checks and gives mark. b. Warmer: - Guide pupils to play a game named: True / False repetition drill about Hoa's work. 2. Presentation: (5’) - Get pupils to look at part A3, and teacher introduces: This is Nam's diary. You work in pairs to ask and answer about his routines. 3. Practice: (20’) - Teacher reads it once and explains sentence by sentence. - Get pupils to read it in silence again. - Call some to read. - Check pupil's reading. - Call some pairs to practice asking about Nam before the class. - Get pupils to write a diary about himself, herself. - Get them to compare with each P 1 : Write new words. III. Teaching aids: - Planning lesson, teacher's and student's books. - A color pictures about the dialogue; sub - board. IV. Procedure: Activities Contents 1. Warm up: (10’) a. Check the old lesson: - Gets 2 pupils to go to the board and change verbs into past form. - Teacher checks and gives mark. b. Warmer: - Guide pupils to play a game named: Pelmanism. 2. Presentation: (10’) - Get pupils to look at part B1 and teacher asks: What's the matter with the boy in the picture? (He has a toothache). If you have a toothache, what will you do? (Go to the dentist). When go to the dentist, what will the dentist do? We are going to read a conversation between Minh and Hoa.
