(1)Date: 18/10/2010 Extra-lesson plan Period 4: REPORTED SPEECH WITH GERUND I Objectives: By the end of the lesson Ss are able: - To know how to use reported speech with GERUND properly II Materials: - Handout, guide book III Anticipated problems: Ss may confuse with skill tasks, so T should ready to assist them IV Procedure: Stage and Procedure Interaction time 13’ 1.Presentation Whole class - Review reported speech with gerund - Give Ss some examples of direct speech, and then helps them to change them into indirect speech, using gerund - Ex: “It was nice of you to help me Thank you very much,” Tom said to me  Tom thanked me for helping him Teacher: Come in, Peter!
