1 Warm up (5’)

- According to the previous lesson (B1), now tell me “What did Hoa in the evening?”

- Ask Ss to answer

* Questions:

+ what you in the evening? + How about doing homework? “What did Hoa in the evening?”

2 Knowledge formation activities (36’)

- Introduce new lesson Now, listen

- Show the pictures on the board (relating to Hoa’s activities in the evening)

- Explain the word: socialize

3 Read

* Ss read the text clearly and write the things Hoa does in the evening

* New words: - rarely (adv) - socialize (v) - Have Ss read the text loudly

- Ask Ss to read the text silently (on page 151) - Ask Ss answer some questions about the text

- Aks Ss to work in groups Then write on the board

* Answer the question:

- What did Hoa and her friends often together? + They talked and listened to music helped each other with their homework, or they played tennis, etc * Make a list of the things Hoa does in the evening. Use the simple present tense.

- Past simple tense (review)

b Skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing

c Attitude: Ss will be educated about the usefulness of videos and some student’s activities

- Call Ss choose the activities for the pictures - Give Ss work with a partner

- Have Ss write it on the board

* Listen to the tape:

- Introduce some Southeast Asian countries and their capitals and some tourist attraction in Southeast Asia

- Vocabulary: of some Southeast Asian countries and their capitals and some tourist attractions on Southeast Asia

- Grammar: Adverbs of Frequency

1 Warm up (5’)

-T shows some pictures of some capital cities and asks Ss some questions

- T writes the names of those cities on the board

* Brainstorm:

+ Do you often see this city on TV? + What it is?

+ How about this one?

+ Eg: Hanoi, Kuala Lumpur Bangkok , Jakarta Beijing , Phnom Penh

2 Knowledge formation activities (32’)

- T introduces 1 Listen Then practice with a partner. * Ss know some tourist attraction in Southeast Asia.

* New words: + pilot (n)

+ occasionally (adv) + Album (n)

- T gives Students listen and repeat after the tape (class split in haft to play roles)

- T has Ss Pair work (practicing the dialogue in pairs and matching the haft sentences) - Students compare their result and teacher corrects the mistakes if there are any - Some pairs perform before class

* Now match the half – sentences a-D, b- F , c – B, d – C,

e –A, f – E

- T asks students to read the names of the capital cities (silently) and then complete the table with the right names of the countries in the box

- T calls Students compare their result and T gives correct answers

- T asks students to read again the dialogue again

* Ss remember the capital of some countries.
