I OBJECTIVES

1 Knowledge, Skills, Attitude:

a Knowledge: - Ss read and get information from English advertisements, then choose a suitable language school

- Grammar: Modal verb with “if”

- Vocabulary: Related to “Learning a foreign language”. b Skills: Listening, speaking, reading and writing. c Attitude: - Ss will be educated about learning English 2 Capacity is formed and developed for students - Self-learning capability

- Communicative competence - Cooperation capacity

II Preparation

1 Teacher: - Lesson plane, book, color chalks, pictures, MP3 2 Students: - Books, notebooks, pen, ruler …

III Students’ activities 1 Warm up (5’)

Questions :

- If you want to attend an English class, how can you get the information from the course?

- Have you ever read any advertisements about English courses?

- What kinds of information can you see in the advertisements?

2 Knowledge formation activities (36’)

- T introduces new words and explains

- Ss practices reading new words after teacher - Ss reads new words before the class

- T checks and corrects if necessary - T explains the requirement of exercise a

- Ss read the text in silence and the exercises individually

- Ss compare the answers in pairs

- T calls Ss to give the answers on the board - T checks and corrects if necessary

- Ss copy down the correct answers in their notebooks

V Read

* Ss know some advertisements and choose a place to study by themselves.

- Communicative competence - Cooperation capacity
