I.Objectives: By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to:
- practice asking and answering about the after-school activities, using the adverbs of frequency
- listen and get the information about the after-school activities II Language contents:
- Grammar:
Present simple tense
- Vocabulary: circus, tidy, rehearse a play, swimming pool

1.Warm up:
- Ask Ss some questions about their activities after school and at recess
- Introduce the new lesson 2.Presentation + Practice:
+ Activity 1: A2.Pracice with a partner - Have Ss look at the pictures and
write a label for each activity - Check the answers in pairs - Give the correct answers
- Have Ss name some other activities
+Ask Ss : “What you after school?”
- Have Ss answer (use the adverbs of frequency from the box)
- Practice in pairs ( ask and answer) Alternating roles
+Do the same with “how often…?” - Ss close their books to ask and
answer in pairs
A2- Practice with a partner - swimming pool (n)
a) Label the pictures
1 reading / studying in the library swimming in the pool
3 playing computer games going to a movie
5 playing soccer watching TV b) Ask and answer
Now ask and answer questions using “How often…?”
Ex:
- On Mondays, I usually my homework with Hoa and Ba after school
- On Tuesdays, I sometimes go swimming with my friends after school

- Have Ss listen to their friends’ activities attentively
- Have them listen again and match each name to an activity - Give the correct answers
